In regard to the attempted Mongol invasion of Japan, the Mongol fleet was destroyed in a typhoons, not a tornado. This was unusual because the season for typhoons was past, typically didn't occur in November when this event happened. The Japanese regarded the typhoons as a supernatural event, and attributed it as being sent from the gods. Their word for it was, "Kamikaze," or "divine wind." Kami=god, kaze=wind.

Samusai fought back so Mongol couldn't get into the inside and pulled back to the ocean. The tolnades came in that season so they couldn't make it to return to the continent, I mean the Korean peninsula. That's the whole story. Just a part of several 10 thousand years of history though. Manchuria was the area that huge money moved with the opium business for many countries including Rockefeller-America,so naturally confliction occured. Expanding every direction? I don't think so. By the way, United States looks facing the hard time. You have to be serious about your own, even if Japan always gives you smiles.

Technically Japan was given a chance by the US to rebuild their own government but after seeing how they work and how they were going to “rebuild” their government the one in charge on the US side were unsatisfied of their plan because nothing change at all and most of the new laws and “changes” they made still revolve around the emperor. So US took it upon their hands to do the job for Japan.

At WW2 Japanese political configuration was military dictatorship and aristocracy, some like as present Russia and N. Korea, and no contact nor concept with American democracy. After war, Japan lost by scientifically advanced US military power and occupied by US army so we can't complain even if Japanese were enslaved, violated and plundered . These were not occurred. America taught us what is democracy, liberalism and equality of human being. US gave starved Japanese people foods aid, no wartime reparation, and cooperated effort to rebuild Japan. Most Japanese feel grateful to America with respect who stopped war, at the same time, with some sense of revenge that be unable to fulfill. I like America.
