The offside rule is very important to understand to make sense of what is happening on the field. It is a very regulating rule, and without it football would be a totally different game.

The subs allowed are now 5. They increased it during Covid and kept it that way, however only 3 subs frames are allowed, which means that you have to sub two players to be able to subs 5 players.

But you can also sub a player in halftime, as halftime doesn't count as a sub frame

13:41 the sides are switched on the second free kick because the attacking way is different. So they change sides after 45 mins. Before the game they usually throw a coin for which side they want to start attacking. For example if the sun is out it can affect on the game and be disadvantage. However it’s not that big deal usually as the stadiums are big and pretty tall so the sun can’t really get in the way. Also you mentioned that if there’s a free kick, why do they use few players instead of many players in the wall. The reason is that you can decide how many you put out there standing in front of the ball. So if the kick is right front of the net you need to put as many players as you can. That’s because there’s higher risk of scoring than from the side or far away. So the people who are in the wall try to block it by jumping at the same time or trying to use their head to deflect or block the ball if possible. They can’t use hands. Usually the goalkeeper can decide how many is there to block it and who are covering the rest of the opponent players in the box. Goalkeeper is also yelling or calling to the players where he wants to exactly put the wall to limit the risk of opponent scoring a goal. I hope this helped.

Red card means that you play with a man down for the rest of the game (10vs11) you need a minimum of 8 players to play a match. Also no time outs. Hope it helps

All players can play all over the pitch (defense, midfield or striker) including the goalkeeper. But the goalkeeper is the only one who can use hands and only in the penalty square. Eight players play the hole game - 2x45 min. (Mayby plus 2x15 min. and penalty kickout.) If a team has used their 3 subs and their goalkeeper gets a red card or are injured, a field player can switch shirt and play goalkeeper.

substitution can happen at any time during the game, the coach tells the guy with the timer that he wants to substitute one of his players and they do it, it can also happen during the 15 minute break(half-time)

Free kicks usually won't end up becoming goals. Probably around 80% will be just a ball flying to the moon. The number of players in the "wall" usually is the goalkeeper's choice to avoid a direct kick, but he also needs people to cover the other players.

Free kicks are "free". To simplify, the kicking team can decide whether to shoot on goal or simply pass the ball, while the defending team can decide whether to form a barrier to block the shot or block individual opponents. The only limitation is that until the ball is released, the defender must keep a certain distance. When there is a penalty kick instead it is only one player against the goalkeeper. Until the shot has been taken, both teams must remain behind the ball. After the shot, play restarts automatically (but bear in mind that a penalty kick is the best possible chance to score and often scores)

I assume the original video maker has only learned the rules from playing fifa. Cause only in video games do most Free Kicks result in a goal. Regards to the difference between the first free kick and the second one. First of all the players can run around anyway they want prior to a kick being taken however the defensive players must stay 10 yards away from the ball, and the offensive players need to make sure they stay in an onside position. Anyway the differnce in the kicks is due to where the kick is being taken from. The first kick the ball is in the centre of the field so the kicker has more of the goal that he can realistically aim for, the players aren't running around as much because 1) It's more likely the kicker is going to shoot but 2) Because the players are in front of the kicker his team mates need to be more mindful of staying onside. In the second kick because the ball is in the wide area the player has less of the goal that he can realistically shoot for so is much more likely to play a cross ball (A long high ball into the box) Because of the position of the kick the attacking players are less likely to run offside and have a bit more wiggle room when it comes to making runs to try lose their markers so they have a cleaner shot/header at goal .

There's an important difference between getting two yellow cards and a direct red card, while the immediate result is the same, a direct red card means the player can't play the next game, with two yellow ones not necessarily.

The final part in which there are 30 extra minutes and then penalties in the event of a draw is valid only on special occasions. If it's the final part of a tournament where you have to decide a winner you can't tie, do it this way. However, if it is a normal match, such as in a championship, the team earns 3 points if it wins, 1 point for each team if it draws and 0 if it loses. So usually after 90 minutes plus a few minutes of injury time set by the referee, if it's draw and even if no one has scored and the match is 0-0, it's over like this... No problem.

Hes English is a little bad but it not being hes 1st language hes doing a very good job explaining the rules and he shows example of what hes talking about which makes it SO MUTCH easier to understand especially when it comes to that Offside rule that one really confuse ppl. U can prepare for a sub at anytime but u cant swap the players untill there is a break in play be it a free kick, goal kick or something that interupt the play. Also importantly that i dont think he understood and it wasent mentioned but if a player gets a red card be it from 2 yellow or 1 red straight away, u cant fill that 11th spot with a sub so your team is stuck playing 10v11 for the rest of the game. U cant use a sub to go from 10v11 to 11v11. When u do a sub u have to take a player out and replace with another player. Another thing if a player gets injured to the point that they cant keep playing and there team have used all there subs they are not allowed to sub in another player to take hes place. This is why if a player gets an injury and there medic on the bench needs to get a better look they move the player out of the field and play 10v11 for a few min untill that player is rdy to get back into the game again or they decide that he cant keep playing and needs the be subbed out. That way u avoid having to sub a player out that just needed some bandage or there foot taped up abit after a sprain. 13:40 The reson why there was less ppl in the wall as its called is becouse of the angle to the goal. The wall is there to block the player from doing a 110% full power kick straight at the goal. The first free kick was almost directly infront of the goal so there is alot of open space for the goalkeeper to try and defend so the ide is that u put some players in the wall to cover 1 side of the goal and let the goalkeeper mainly focus more on the other side. The closer to the goal it is the more ppl u use in the wall. Ofc the goalkeeper cant totally ignore 1 side becouse players can try and curve the ball around the wall or hit it over the wall but the wall is there to block the shoot angle. In the 2nd kick the angle was mutch more from the side and there was no need to have so many players in the wall for that free kick so instead u have more defending players near the goal and a direkt kick for a goal with that angle is very rarely gonna work as the goalkeeper can cover alot more of the goal himself.

Forget about the "striker", they are forwards! Its rather this that in many teams there is one or two forwards that score moste goals. In anyway, it often happens that midle fielders do a lot of goals and even the defens player! The moste difficult rule to explain is the offside rule! If one have knowledege about ice hockey, one know there is a line one cant pass over, befor one have carryed the puck over it one self! In fotball (soccer) there is a floating line.. its at the last defender. Soo, then there is this "offside tactics", when the other team attacks, defender can take steps forward to leave the other teams forwards (strikers?) on the wrong side! In anyway, fotball (soccer) is a adult game, all 11 players runs/plays 2*45 minutes, the clock runs the whole time, but the refere can put on extra minutes if there was any extra emergency, kinda let medical personel entering and check the player.. better to be safe then sorrow!

Defense is not suposed to be on defense all the time, must when its needed, they must be there when the times come to defend, its all depends of the coach strategy, the role that the are given to the players, more defense team, more forense team, if the back laterals have a role on offense or not, its not a rule...

I think it is ok for millimeter offside. An offside is an offside. The most important thing is consistency. You call it every time the same way and it is fine.

Getting a red card results in what American's call a Power Play for the rest of the game; ie, the offending team have to play on with 10 players. Also, it's not made clear that "extra time" and a penalty shoot out are ONLY played when the match is knock-out, ie, one team or the other HAS to win. This is normally in the latter stages of tournament play, such as the World Cup and Champion's League. In normal league play, two teams who draw ("tie") will get one point each.
