These guys are really lovely, they're genuine and delightful! They're not pretentious and when the camera is on them they're often giving advice/helpful tips or updates.

Wombats can run as fast as 40kmh that's 24.85 mph and they do square poop so it doesn't roll away making it easier for other wombats to find! That's how they communicate with eachother and they tacticlly poop it in piles!

Born & bred novocastrian (from Newcastle). The beauty of Newcastle is its close proximity to beaches, country, vineyards & city. I’ll get back there eventually 😊

One of my sister's lives there, she refuses to come back to Sydney now, her lifestyle is perfect - even for Christmas! Newcastle had everything people needed for work, study, relaxation and sport, now it has even more! A growing city and amazing area to live! 😃

Absolutely their videos are brilliant and I think as long as you give their channel a decent plug they would be ok with you doing some reactions. All their stuff is great but I’d especially recommend their one on the Whitsundays as the drone footage on that video is nothing short of professional and award winning!!

I think the comment about Koalas being nocturnal is incorrect. They just like sleeping most of the time like cats, but even moreso. The eucalyptus leaves they eat are low energy, so I think they sleep around 18 hours a day.

I think that was AUD$10 for the tasting, which is about right for the exchange rate for USD and GBP. Shiraz is a full bodied, dryish red wine and semillon is a dru white wine and the Hunter region is known for both. And peacocks are not native to Australia 😉

She is a very likeable young lady but she did get a few thigs wrong and did over exaggerate some facts peacocks are not native to Australia, kangaroos don't randomly run around punching people and everything is not trying to kill you .she didn't know Newcastle very well not knowing Blackbutt Reserve was here , its in the middle of the city, she was accurate about just everything else. But didn't mention a lot of places that Newcastle and the surrounding shires are famous for . By the way the price for their bottle of wine was $10 not 30 making it $ 6 70 US and you would be missing out if you didn't visit a vineyard because they offered $ 6,.70 wine because i can confirm as a wine snob that some of the best wines I've tasted sold for under $20 AUD and they came from our Hunter Valley vineyards. McGwiggens black label wine range are all excellent the reds are scrumptious and ive bought them by the case for as little as $8 AUD , not everything in Australia is as exspensive as some people make it out to be .

i was born in newcastle grew up in port stephens half hour north, worked in newcastle most of my life. apart from the beaches and lake mac i wouldn't list any of these things as highlights of the area. there's so much more. she definitely knows a lot more about coffee and wine than our animals that section was cringeworthy. a lot of highways have underpasses for walking or larger animals like kangaroos etc as well the net tunnel overpasses for arboreal animals.

Ummm not quite true sorry m8. A wombat was the first animal that ever bit my eldest son lol. On our way across the nullabor from WA we saw one on the road and stopped, my son was 4yrs old, and the wombat flew at him as soon as he got out of the car. We had to turn back and head into Esperance for a doctor and 16 stitches. Nope, not kidding

Wombats run 40 kmh you're not outrunning one anytime soon plus they have sharp teeth and powefull claws! It's the cute things you have to worry about your're not going to pat a croc but you will attempt to pat a wombat, roo or a koala each of these can do some damage to you!

@@michaelmayo9048 we thought the wombat was dead at the time, and the plan was to let the kids stretch their legs, while their dad got it off the road. It hadn't moved a muscle, (we later assumed it was asleep on the road) until my son's car door opened. No lesson was learned, because we would never have allowed the kids out of the car if we thought it was still alive

No street food in Australia, really? Well obviously she's never been to Melbourne. But that's cool. And everything in Australia doesn't want to kill you. It's mainly sketchy people who do. And I've seen heaps of spiders but never seen a snake in the wild. Except squashed on the road. 👍
