As Latin American myself, we always called America the land masses of North America and South America. To us, we kept the OG definition of the New World as it was since the XVI century. The name America become important to us when we achieved our independence from the Spaniards. I feel that "US Americans" feel the same when they kicked out the British. It's a synonymous of Freedom or land of the free. On the other hand, the term evolved in the English speaking world to something closely related on the USA. then American geologist decided that this land was a actually 2 continents which never appealed to us since we shared a common history with Central Americans, Mexico and other Latin American countries in the Caribbean. Our language and other Latin language definitely have a proper way to name US people, United Statians or United Staters. Estadounidenses, estadonidenses, Etatsunien or Statunitensi are other official terms in several Latin Languages. I think we feel like we are being excluded from the American continent when the US claims the name for only themselves or when everyone on earth blames "America" as the greatest evil and we aro no blame of all the shitty actions the US does.

Yeah, In Spanish language we say "América" (America) for the continent and "Americano" (American) for the gentilic, then you have North America (North part of america) South America (South part of america). The contry U.S.A (United States of America) is "E.U.A. / E.E.U.U. (Estados Unidos de América)" and its inhabitants are "Estadounidense" which means (United Statesian) to make a clear division between the country and the continent. Of course, Mexico also has "United States" in one of its official names (United Mexican States) but since Mexico is not a continent, you can take the word Mexico to make the gentilic.

We associate yawning with tiredness but really it’s just a lack of oxygen hence a big yawn is just an autonomic response to draw in more oxygen. This response occurs when we are tired because when we sleep or are getting ready to sleep our breathing typically slows and hence draws in less oxygen and expels less Co2, but it is not limited to being tired to occur….

Also we have definitive proof of genetic exchange between Polynesians, notably on Easter Island, and Precolumbian people living in what is today Columbia. And there is evidence because they brought back sweet potatoes which were not native and an entire pacific ocean away. and also the King before Mansa Musa left due West with a fleet of 2000 ships, with an extra 1000 ships of cargo. Some people think some of them made it to Brazil. There's also some evidence Vinlanders stuck around longer than we thought or even went as far south as Mesoamerica with some limited but very compelling drawings. Also their long term effect in the myths of at least 5 major culture groups around the area. But hey if you hear about them once it also might just stick.

Columbia was proposed near the start as was Fredonia. Even funnier when Washington state named itself that they chose it specifically so it wouldn't be confused with Washington DC, which at the time was more commonly just called the District of Columbia. Like nearly all of Washington is in the watershed of the Columbia river, and they picked that to not confuse people... history makes fools of us all. Once we realized by like 1900 that when our jetsetting socialites sometimes got funny looks when they just called themselves American or in the languages they learned to be more cultured we weren't called that there was a national dialogue about what other names to use (not that it isn't valid to ask, just funny that it took that long for us to notice again). The best one in my opinion was Usonia, as in U.S.onian, the term went out of fashion but does still define an architectural style pioneered by Frank Lloyd Wright that would have been great if industry, commerce or cars worked the way he wanted them too. They still look pretty though. no clue if it would be your jam but there is an awesome alternate history setting that had America eventually be known as the Federal Union of Usonia. The Templin Institute did an amazing video on it, and the other countries like the Rusviet Tsardom, and their goofy ww1 but with mechs aesthetic.

British people usually don't care at all, and Canadians occasionally get mildly annoyed but mostly don't care, people in Latin America though care a lot because of the difference in language and the way they teach continents it makes the US look especially bad and arrogant when we call ourselves "american" even when that is not the intention.

Whichever name is suggested has problems. The most northern part of The Americas is Canada, so North America is out. South America has already been allocated, so that is out too, as is Central America for the same reasons . The most sensible suggestion is Middle America because of the geographical location between true north and true south. That could result in a title of USMA (United States of Middle America), but that could also be a difficult choice given the current political leanings. People are likely to make up derogatory names based on the lettering, such as Fords "Fix Or Repair Daily", or GMC "Great, More Crap", or Jeep "Just Expect Expensive Repairs". Even Porsche don't escape, with "Pricks Or Rich Shitheads Can Have ‘Em". One possible such result could be USMA - "United Socialist Marxist A55holes", and that would be both unfortunate and doing a disservice to all the decent people living there.

Calling yourself Americans is stupid. Everyone who lives in the Americas can call themselves Americans. Remember when Star Trek said there was to be a Native American in their new series. Those from the United States thought it was to be an indiginous person from their country. To bad he came from Middle America, Latin America, somewhere in the Americas but not the United States.

Speaking about Star Trek, the Interplanetary Federal Republic is *named* The United Federation of Planets (UFP) & it's referred to as the *Federation* & *not* The Planets! America is a continent, not a country. Plus, an American is from the Continent of America!

So with that logic the United Kingdom could change its name to "The United Countries of Europe", I like it, take that European Union!

You should know it's easy and hard to make that much profit. I say EASY because it's very possible to make that much, and Hard because you'll need professional assistance to do it, I'd suggest you get assisted by a market advisor.

I can't disclose too much, but yea I've been using a coach called Mr Scott Phillip ' 'and through his guidance, I've been able to make approx. $24,000 in dividends on a monthly basis, it is pretty straightforward, not as complicated as it used to be.
