Never fish AR. Been wanting to fish but I heard that there are certain area that you need to use Barbless hook. Do you have to use barbless on AR?

Yes, you're correct. Certain areas on the AR require a barbless hook. If uncertain, please check the regulation handbook or online of the area you're planning on fishing.

I use 6/0 hook with a 3oz weight. Depending on the river, where you fish on the American River on the weight and make sure you check the regulation because some areas is barbless. Thanks
