"Bazinga" is a catchphrase from Sheldon Cooper of the TV show "Big Bang Theory". The leader and composer, Pablo, is a fan of the show. It's a track about SB19's haters (their hate is like a fuel for SB19 to keep on going and proving them wrong). The song and the music video feature a lot of pop culture reference, from video games to animé/ manga. Examples: - The official lyric video has a street fighter/ mortal kombat theme. The official music video also have the boys playing video games. In one part, they also looked like Mortal Kombat characters or Fire benders. - Bibidi-babidi boo - from Disney's Cinderella. That's what the fairy god mother say when casting a spell. - "Bruce" - Bruce Lee. He said "Be water, my friend". It meant to be formless, shapeless, be capable of being flexible or adjusting depending on the situation. - Josh' look during the line "Clown! Who's the boss now?" - He looked like Hisoka of the animé "Hunter x Hunter" - Pablo's rap lines - those are references to animé's One Punch Man and Mob Psycho. There are other references and easter eggs in the video. Lol it would be too long to point them out. I'm talking much already. As for your third look, I suggest "Go Up", their 2nd song since debut. It's called their redemption song because it was supposed to be their last song before they disband. Watch their music video then the dance practice video. It is the dance practice video of the song that actually gained them the spotlight. Another suggestion would be "Tilaluha". Their debut song that shows their vocal chops. The best version of this for me is their live performance in "TM Pusuan: The Love Show." Fandom name is "A'Tin" (pronounced as eighteen, because 18 comes before 19 and there will be no SB19 without A'Tin". "Atin" also means "ours" in Filipino. All success and dreams of SB19 are shared with the fans. The reason there is an emphasis in "A" is to give nod to the "Aurums", they are the pioneer fanbase when SB19 was still not popular and that's what fans called themselves when there was no official fandom name yet.

Love how you detailed on Bazinga lyrics! SB19 leader, Pablo, is an amazing songwriter and, for me, Bazinga's lyrics has got to be one of his finest yet (along with MAPA)! So brilliantly and wittily written, he used a lot of references from their own interests, e.g. Big Bang Theory, manga series and animes, James Bond, Disney, and even dedicated a verse to their redemption song, "Go Up." Try live performances of the ballads TILALUHA (at the TM Love Show), HANGGANG SA HULI (at the Wish Bus) and MAPA (at Kalayaan 2021). It'll be like discovering an all new awesome side to them. I believe (and pretty sure) that "Bruce, be proud I'm water" is calling out to Bruce Lee, the iconic Martial Artist and predecessor of Jackie Chan, etc. One of his famous lines is "Be like water" which could mean be flexible and adaptable in almost everything.

I am not a fan of boybands for I am in my golden age and I am not amazed of thunder and jumping cats fast dancing but these boys got me. The only group with different voices when blended together produce eargasm harmonies..and they are so humble and natural..no yabang in their body. And to add with that, they undergone lots of discriminations. They are all talented, compose their songs and choreo their dance. Same here! They are not anything like Kpop, their songs and vocals are so diverse, i would say incomparable to Kpop, sorry just expressing my opinion. live vocal monsters, they can sing while dancing, sitting and jping up and down, they got EDM, rapping, rock, ballads, RnB, beautiful song MAPA, good comedians, choreographers, very good looking men/great glow up phases, i can go on and on. And yes, there's no trace of arrogance, fierceness maybe, but arrogance, no. No bad/cuss words in their songs too (at least the ones i know). LYRICS are almost always deep, with great WORDPLAY. Even the SOLO OUTINGS are soo good, especially that of my bias, KEN/FELIP. It's unfortunate that they don't have the large scale hyping machinery that Kpop has, otherwise, i think they could be bigger than most Kpop. AGAIN, Just my opinion.

I love all of SB19 songs because of the different genres and messages on the lyrics, but my favorites are Go Up, What?, and Bazinga because it kinda connects and represents their journey. It feels nostalgic hearing a line from Bazinga that connects to Go Up where it all started.

I’m an Army/ and a big A’tin mom here from California! you have to react to their ballad songs… TILALUHA in tmpusuan and HANGGANG SA HULI in 107.5 wish bus… these songs will show you their vocal capability as individuals… their live versions are better than the studio ones… they have similar story of BTS both groups were maligned, ridiculed and met a lot of resistance when they first debuted… what I love about these 2 groups are their tenacity,humbleness and true to their characters. I like SB19 because ...they are extremely TALENTED, all the 5 sing, dance, rap, do their choreography, contribute to their creative videos, compose their songs, they sing better LIVE and dont use sophisticated equipment to make their voice sound perfect as many other boy bands do, they made and sang songs in gratitude of their parents(MAPA) and their fans(SLMT) which other boy bands rarely or even have never done..they had difficult beginnings and they acknowledge and thank God for their success...they are very humble , down to earth and with all the right values.

Bruce is Bruce Lee with his famous quote "be water, formless, shapeless". That's not the official lyric video, it's a fan made that's why it doesn't have an english sub. I think you would've gotten the meaning of the song from the original lyric video because it's a diss track for their bashers. Our fandom name is called A'tin (pronounced 18). Fans of SB19 are called A'Tin (pronounced as 18) because there's no SB(19) without A'Tin (18). It also came from the Filipino word ATIN (pronounced as AH-TIN) which means OURS because all the success SB19 gets are dedicated to all their fans. Since ATIN from Filipino is already in its Plural Form, many A'Tin is not called A'Tins, its just A'Tin whether its for a single fan or a collective of fans.

@@jacquebuan haha yes.. Its understandable, its like a hidden word, especially when the boys used it in SLMT as a response with the meaning MAHAL KA NG LIMA (the five loves you)... There was no HALINA included although its not a problem too because its basically a new meaning (meaning if said by SB19 to A'Tin). Yes I remember there are other words that were also invented during that time but only MAHALIMA gained traction coz of its meaning. There's also an alternate word for "behind-the-scenes" during that time because Twt tags the group B/ts whenever we use those 3 letters for behind the scenes and we need to make precautions especially its BBMAs that time.... Unfortunately, I already forgot what was it. Hahaha..

I highly suggest MaPa. Watch the official lyric video first (which is the original version) followed by its band version (collab with Ben & Ben). The band version was performed live. And as the others have already suggested, Tilaluha (at TM Pusuan) and Hanggang sa Huli (at Wish bus) are worth checking out. These were also performed live. These boys are freaking flexible. They can perform any genre and they are good at performing live.

Sir, you will frequently encounter "Mahalima" when reacting to SB19's songs or contents. It's a neologism for "Mahal ka ng Lima." literally, you are loved by the five(the 5 boys of SB19). To the fandom which is A'TIN, it also means OT5. I think this was coined by Pablo, the leader. He has a penchant for wordplay and is evident in most songs he has written. It was first used in their song "SLMT" and has since caught on among the fans.

It actually was originally made by a fan kaps hehe. MAHALIMA from the words, MAHAL - LOVE HALINA - FASCINATE LIMA - 5 Meaning: My/Our love for the 5 of you is fascinating. That's what the tweet said hehe. Also, I saw one video clip of SB19 where Justin said, "Mahalima is a word made by our fans, meaning, "Mahal namin kayong lima. (We Love the 5 of you.) Pero A'TIN, Mahalima rin namin kayo, mahal kayo ng lima. (But A'TIN, Mahalima too, The 5 of us loves you.)" something like that AHAHAHAHA. 🙆💙 Then they included it to the song, "SLMT" na.

We call our fandom A'TIN (pronounced as number 18) Thanks for your honest reaction.. Here in the Philippines, this kind of genre is not really accepted when they started their career as some Filipinos have this crab mentality that only supports other country like Koreans' KPOP. So all the negative comments, hates, were received by them. They were called KPop wannabes and copycat. I hope you will give chance to these boys. Their songs have an inspirational/motivational message. Please also react to the lyric video "MAPA" which means map in english. But it also stands as MAma and PApa. It's a song for mom and dad.
