I was in Shanghai last week, why I didn't see you 😂 yes, touristy place, that's why every time I come back with new friends, I would visit the Bund, Oriental Tower etc, proudly showing my hometown 😂 but I haven't been to this place, pic with disfunctional pool, that's not touristy 😉 I would recommend Da Ning Park, it's free, Tulip Show reminds me of Amsterdam, another hidden gem!

Great to see another American vlogging in Shanghai! I’ve lived in China 9years, 7 of those in Shanghai. Been making videos since 2016… I love Columbia Circle, especially Tsutaya Bookstore.

I love Shanghai, really a beautiful city. Even in in the States, dogs are not allowed on some public green areas. guess people want to lie down and sit on the green. maybe some people don't clean the dog poop etc. there is a nice restaurant in 巨富长。

For a tourist, which app would you recommend for paying, ordering etc., WeChat, Alipay or other?

either are fine! but there might be some problems linking a foreign bank card and using it...so best to bring cash and have a person who lives here send you the money into your alipay/wechat and you give them the cash (:

I heard you can link your credit card to both apps now. I am sure Alipay works. Not so sure about WeChat.

@@manimalworks7424 you can but actually I have friend from the UK visiting and he wasnt able to get his card to work. so its best to bring cash in case, you can also take out cash at the ATMS with a credit card

find a chinese vpn. do not use Express or Astrill. Those are not good and Astrill will not refund you
