Nope! They are watching this and laughing because its pure fantasy... And they've long prepared and trained for exactly that scenario. Some not-insignificant numbers wish for it. Fact is, "we" have not prepared or trained for this. Indeed, "we" support gun control that will ensure rights are easily stripped for those that have every reason to keep and bear arms. Perhaps at best this can be a wake-up call.
@sylent198513 жыл бұрын
@@thomasgrey6309 if cops keep killing unarmed African Americans, I wouldn't be surprised if this actually does happen.
@thomasgrey63093 жыл бұрын
@@sylent19851 ...but.. Cops have always been killing unarmed black folk. Killing dads in front of their kids. Killing kids in front of their dads. Rinse and repeat. They been doing it since 1619. What's new now that wasnt then is the video recording.. And they are still doing it, tho there is more public scrutiny. What happens when "national security" norms are passed into law and youtube and facebook (or whatever is the new future 'platform(s)' gets a government gatekeeper that suppresses free expression on this 'private' platform now under 'public' administration? Back to operating with the 'official' narritive and filter the police/government wish to divulge.. THAT is I think more the near scenario coming.. I dont think after 400-years, black folk are going to FINALLY organize, successfully filter out infiltrators/informants/snitches/etc., arm up, train, strategize and while doing not be actively undermined as every attempt at black folk mass organizing had 'successfully' been historically undermined. I think THAT is the further off reality. I hope not, but what has history taught us? Anyone looks America in the eye and says "boo", America drops bombs, rapes women and children, destroys infrastructure and sets a society back on its ass.. Then we tie yellow ribbons around trees, call our trigger pullers 'heroes', lie about this somehow protecting our freedom, we have parades, thenk them for services rendered and sacrifices made, fall on our collective knees and worship our new trinity (military, government, money). Anyone kills a black Americans (other than another black american), blacks are both internally and externally cautioned to adhere to non-violent expressions of venting grief and calls to the very system that has marginalized and oppressed them to work in their favor to provide them justice.. Then they investigate and found they did nothing wrong, on only if the black guy dropped to the floor, pressed his belly into the dirt and his face onto the dog-shit, and OBEYED, and COMPLIED, and 'yessir' and 'nossir', and never ever tense or frown or voice discontent with the laying of hands on him, the humiliation done to him, the threats leveled at him.. if only he lowered his head, took those humiliations as his lot, then everything would be okay, and everyone would be happy. This has been the lot, and has successfully worked barring brief public instances of outpouring that for some reason, instead of burning the cops that are killing and brutalizing them, instead the property of people that had nothing at all to do with the event are instead burned to the ground. Why are the safest people during a riot the police, when every riot bar-none was triggered by their cruel, violent, and lethal actions to the people who at that moment could suffer it no longer... but just for that moment? In the end.. I'm saying that so much on all ends will have to so fundamentally change for whatever this movie.. lol... that I have not actually seen yet, but what it portrays.. had any dream of being a real possibility, and for us to believe the police, especially since 9/11/2001 with the passing of the NDAA and creation of Dept of Homeland Security and before our eyes the circumvention of Posse Comitatus with the hyper militarization of the police, the growth of resources into policing with this new connected, data-driven, perpetual surveillance, by overlapping institutions, agencies, departments all while somehow magically STILL convincing the American people that they are the freest people EVER on planet earth, when the truth is they are the most watched and controlled of any western society, and are in truth the closest peer to Communist China in that respect than anyone else, anywhere else.. yet while the cops kill our kids, hunt for crimes, lie to convict, and look for any reason to place chains on you, extort money from you, put you behind bars.. While we experience all of this "We" still scream from the top of our lungs "We are freer than anyone anywhere!" (dare ya to try to read that long rambling non-sentence without taking a breath at the end of a sentence!) Nah.. Understand the layers of government agencies with sanction on monopoly of use of force and violence knowledge and experience how to use that force and violence to their benefit, and access to unbound resources that will be brought to bear in the case of a civilian.. and dare I suggest, a 'black' armed uprising in pursuit of justice. With all due respect, us civilians (I like to call us 'citizens') are under some delusion that we'll somehow be able to go back home after anything starts, or that somehow we are safe in our wood, sheetrock and vinyl clad home or rented apartments and fundamentally are trying to get it all done so that we can be fresh and ready to go back to work on Monday morning.. What I mean by this is that there is some assumption that there will be civil society with stability and continuity enough for us to return to and continue life as before. I cant imaging anything other than a scorched earth level societal/governmental devolvement would work and make it stick. And man, woman, and child would need to know its its own kind of armageddon. Aint no going home if it starts to roll. 330-million Americans. 38-million Black Americans. 19-million Black Male Americans. 2/5ths of those under 18. over 330-million firearms in America. maybe 40-of 'em in the hands of Black Americans (I jest, I jest) 70-million right-wing leaning conservative voters that probably own 85% of those over 330-million firearms that ARE NOT allies and supporters of causes Black folk get loud and proud about enough to stand at their shoulders in support, and almost certainly are on the side, are more likely to help and fully support that thin blue line, because fundamentally the injustice doesnt matter to them. Order, power, control, and enforced peace is what matters, not your humanity. The other 74-million center-left-far-left leaning liberals largely believe you should only walk down the avenue with a placard voicing your discontent after which they'll have latte's and pat themselves on the back for 'participating in democracy' in the most milquetoast ineffective way possible. Heck, they probably even applied for the permit for 'permission' allowing them to march, yet they dont believe in the 2nd amendment, and are working like gangbusters to infringe on it and complicitly ensure that its only the government-- the very ones that are already killing your fathers and sons and brothers, are the only ones in the room allowed to have the guns worth having. If you have by some magic suffered and read this rambling 'book', you might rightly conclude that I tend to be on the pessimistic side of things..

I haven't even seen this movie yet and was just reading the reviews to see the opinions on if it was good or not. Seems like most of the negative comments is coming from....I don't even have to say. Sure y'all can see for yourselves and take a guess. Just funny that they're so quick to dismiss and talk down about it because they will NEVER feel our struggle and the constant pain that they've put on us as a culture many, many, many years. I feel like if you're constantly seeing mothers, father, sons and daughters technically being MURDERED in most cases in your culture then you have the right to verbally express how you feel but if you're not going through that in your culture then shut the fuck up. Because 9 times out of 10 your culture is the one being protected while we're being hunted. I agree that violence against violence doesn't make anything better but I also believe that enough is enough and there's a reaction to every action. We're tired!

Its funny how people get offended by such content but get excited when watching movies about so called terrorists from the middle east......"violence against violence doesnt make anything better", this statement doesnt apply in countries like e.g. US, China, Germany. Honestly even as a white person I’m super stoked for this movie. Imagine being upset about a fictional story that supposedly encourages violence against cops, but not about the actual racially charged violence that cops are getting away with. And for anyone who tries to tell me it’s anything other than that, I’ve personally been in mental health-related situations with the police that would’ve for sure gotten me killed if I were a person of color. The double standards are very real, it’s just easy to look away from when it’s unpleasant or inconvenient for you.

I believe in almost every incident where a black person unjustly loss his life by a cop who was not being provoked, those cops consciously chose the worst approach fully knowing that they will be protected by the system when shit hits the fan.
@thekongstocks3 жыл бұрын
In almost every case, the black never cooperated and therefore, escalated majority of the already tense situation
@BlackIce1003 жыл бұрын
@@thekongstocks that's not true at all, there's so many cases on video of black motorists not doing anything wrong, and even if they did resist, that shouldn't be an opportunity for a sworn officer of the "law" to use his authority to become, judge, jury, and executioner, they're supposed to be trained to apprehend with minimal violence, not to escalate.

This looks damn good! Most of all, this is a very realistic situation. America can’t continue to kill us especially our children and expect people to sit, hope and pray. The outcomes are the same. Nothing happens. We need to stop the insanity.
