My mom passed away due to leukemia back in 1961. To experience the amazing progress made via cancer research is phenomenal. Keeping hope alive for all continues to live well in my soul. Thank you for sharing...

My nephew was diagnosed with childhood leukemia at age 1 in 1983. Things still werent quite there medically. So his parents were told he had a 90+% chance of dying....and then one medical breakthrough happened....and he was given another year....and then another one....and at 15 he was finally told he was in remission....and he is now 40 and has a wife and kids....hope gives the future the future.

I can’t get enough of these two amazing humans. As individuals they are both incredible. As a couple, they are inspirational - their love for each other combined with their humanity is transformational. They are what this broken world needs.

Two incredible human beings and artists. I read her memoir Between the Two Kingdoms, I must say during her treatment, her first boyfriend Seamus (Will in the book) is absolutely a hero and a kind, loving partner.

Jon support and dedication throughout the journey was my favorite. He was "not invisible". Jon was very present. I saw him as her blood transfusion. His positivity was her lifeline. Nevertheless, the entire production was a script of HOPE and LOVE.
