+dragboyodoom Yeah I was surprised what he said about the M6, it's a nice "little" tank. But the early shermans, damn those blow up easily, and they are weak. It's hard to fight Tiger tanks with a sherman. And I was curious about what they would said about the tank destroyers, they are the best, especially the Hellcat :D And another plus for the US ground forces: the air force. They have good ground attack planes and bombers.

+ORYG1N - Variety Gaming Channel So far I have enjoyed the M6 allot since I unlocked it (I have not taken it out in RB yet). I have found great use for the 37mm it has, binding it to the rocket key. Believe it or not, 90mm pen can do allot when paying aggressively.

My only complaint with the m6 is that the machine gun placement on m6 is horrible. Besides that it's a pretty good tank with the 37mm laying down rapid fire and the 75mm actually doing the damage.

The M41A1 is no where NEAR as fast as they say in this video. That thing will NEVER reach 70Kmh offroad. Hell, I've never seen it hit over 55 going down hill!

+ORYG1N - Variety Gaming Channel Don´t forget the Chaffee, that does not out speed a T-34 in any game mode or any situation. Also, the gun it has is not "powerful" as it simply can´t penetrate the sloped front of the T-34, making you aim with care as the T-34 can shoot you anywhere without worrying about where you aim as the HE component can either kill you outright or disable you completly.

I can't tell you how many times I've penned the side of a T-34 with a 76mm APHE and didn't 1 hit kill it. The crew in a T-34 is packed like sardines so they would die very easily IRL. But in WT they seem invincible. IRL the Sherman had a really good crew survival rate due to the crew being spaced out well

M26 Pershing: "The only two weakspots are engine and transmission" Add the front hull armor and front turrent aromor and the rest of the tank armor to it and I agree to you. "The AP shell is normally more than enough to kill anything with one hit" Yeah it can't pen the Tiger II H fron the front and it can't pen the IS 2 MOD from the front (APCBC-HE round). The only good shell is the APCR, the rest is a worse Panther gun.

ahhaha i guess you u dont know nothing about m26.m26 90mm gun is best gun in t4, huge HE filler 140g 10s reload and u can penetrate IS 2 mod. 44 in lower glacies, its like 120mm on 20*.Its only tank that you cant penetrate frontal is Tiger 2 H, but u can load APCR shell or flank him.

+TheWTFworks They did. Sub-caliber means a using a smaller (than the barrel) round that goes faster and imparts it's energy into a smaller area of the target compared to standard rounds. You use sub-caliber if you want to penetrate thicker armor, but it will have less shrapnel when it penetrates.

A sub-caliber round is a round the diameter of which is inferior to the barrel diameter. An expendable sabot is used to expand the diameter to the full barrel width of the firing gun. Is that what you're looking for man?

Well I can tell you that with apcr you can pen the side turret of a t10 and heck even pen its gun mantlet! No joke I get penned in the mantlet easily by is2s, tiger 1s, and t32s but you have to be accurate. I'll say there is a 30% chance you'll pen the T10 gun mantlet. I don't know what to tell ya about is4s and t54s but I guess you can try flanking them

Shermans: Hull down or you will die, angling doesn't work because of thin side armor and front armor is not thick enough for any serious opponent. Early variants also have ammo racks behind that thin front and side armor so they're easy to one-shot. Ammo: Most of the rounds that can penetrate at their tier don't have explosive filler, most of the rounds that have explosive filler can't penetrate. Hitting ammo racks or disabling gun operation on the first shot is essential, since your tank will not likely shrug off a returning volley.

+flashtirade Yea, those shermans will never block a shot from something of equal BR. When I was grinding through them, i almost always got my turret shot first, which disabled guns, then they shoot me one more time for the kill. That's if they didn't just ammo rack me in the side.

Personally I did great in the M6A1, dunno what Gaijin's kvetching about. With it having 2 cannons, you can fool enemies with the 37mm into thinking your main 76mm (75mm?) gun is reloading so they come out to shoot and expose themselves. The upgraded Jumbo with the 76m cannon is an absolute beast. At 400m, Tiger 1's simply cannot pen your front armor. I once held off a frontal assault of around 7 enemy tanks in a Jumbo 76. The frontal armor is ridiculous.

American tanks pretty much can get one shot from anything from the front angled. Best bet is to bait out a shot from your enemy with you tracks by rolling back n forth then attack when after they shot if your track don't get blown of or if your crew don't autodie

??? I use the M6A1 all of the time in tier V matches with my T32. It's still very effective in my opinion because I always get the metal "Rank does not matter" when I use it. If you're skillful with it you can get quite a few bounces from Pershing's, T-44's, Tiger's I & II etc. The key is to use it as a medium tank to flank, because the M6A1 is maneuverable if you know the secret to it. ^_^ I don't think the M6A1 is a big hunk-a-clunker.. Got some bad ass recordings to prove it too! ^_^

I maxed out american plans, i liked how all plans were different and each plane got a learning curve and i love the challenge. With time and effort the US plans are amazing, i am not starting german plans and i am love with cannons. I digress, the US tank tree is not even fun around teir 2/3. Armor is less, guns under powered, the shells are weaker then others. just like in WW2 german tanks destroy shermans. once u get to tier 4/5 the US get outclassed again, Germany and Russian tanks are just better at almost any BR... The US tank are just faster, and if ur lucky to b in higher tiers there guns get better.

BULLSHIT i wreck shit up when i use the M6! it's a freaking wonderful tank and it's humongous engine allows it to tow anything to safety while, even if your max speed is off 35 km/h you have a wonderful acceleration and climbing capacity! The fact that is has 2 canons allows it to deal serious damage if you get on the opponents side thanks to it's surprisingly good mobility!

Early T-34 no chance of penning my turret. Yeah ok nice one Gaij00b. M4A3 105 is useless, its turret turns too slow to do anything and might as well be a fixed gun TD. HE Shells do nothing to anything but the lightest of vehicles, and even then they have issues. And, the HEAT shells do nothing but bounce against the slightest angle.

Lets make it short From tier 1 you are saying that they are pain, hart to kill t 34, hard to kill tiger and panther, pathetic armor etc. So why dont you re check that BRs once again? Especially since you can get T-34 E and E stz in tier 2 while for decent Sherman you have to buy 12 tanks to move in tier 3, and then you face tigers panthers and ALL KVs, 1,2, 85.. all of them. AAA cant kill tanks, sure as it should be, then why dont you remove HVAP ammo from other AAAs, flakpanzer 1 and gepard can kill any BR Sherman. You mixed US light and mediums like they are same what is soviet medium and heavies. Something is wrong there.
