American Tries Canadian Snack Cakes For The First Time!

In this video I will be trying three different Canadian snack cakes for the first time. Included will be the Ah Caramel, May West, and Jos Louis cakes.

yup. i rember jos louis tasted the best in the 90s. yeah they changed up lot of stuff. now today jos louis is not the same. if this guy that made the video tryed it in the 90s he would have loved jos louis.

The only one I ever liked in my youth was the May West. I recall there was a very popular confection called Half- Moon which came in chocolate and vanilla.

Good review. Im myself in Quebec. You should give a try to the original versions, not the super, just for comparison. Personnaly prefer may west cuz of dark chocolate. Caramel one is way too sweet for my taste. And Jo Louis is a bit too fake for me.

the original Ah Caramel! is a lot better, each package will have 2 small cakes in it, which has a much better caramel/filling ratio.

Loved these as a kid. I remember the caramel was on top in the middle with the cream on the outside. The cake was so spongy and moist. Damn I miss these things. Looks like the wife is getting an extra Mother’s Day present.

May West was originally Mae West prior to the 1980's but was changed due to a fear of a lawsuit from Mae West's estate after Mae died in 1981

hi. just leting you know. if you tryed jos loius in the 90s you would have loved it. now today there not the same. they changed a lot in food. even choclate bars and chips there not the same like they use to be. even aero bar taste diffrent now. reeese cups taste diffrent even pepsi. however you can taste pepsi from 90s. its called pepsi throw back. they releese them every year limted time for few months. so give it a try if you wanna see how pepsi tasted back in the 80s and 90s.

Yeah I wish I could have tried those back in the '90s. Luckily I am old enough to remember the deliciousness of the '80s and '90s snacks and drinks. Stuff definitely isn't as good as it was back in the day, from cereal to chocolate to drinks.
