Imagine a stadium as a giant drain. Money flows from the community into the stadium, where it whirls around for a bit, then funnels down some murky pipes, exiting far, far away. my childrens children will be paying for that POS... and for what? the CFL? was it worth it? every city that used public funds to build/then maintain a stadium for a pro team regretted it... wasnt the CFL lobbying our out of control government for a 50 million funnybucks bail out not too long ago? why the fcuk did we build that pile of crap again? what for? what a joke... a province of suckers

Besides dill pickle vodka and deep fried pickles, pickles aren't more popular in Saskatchewan than anywhere else. The only two Sasky terms I knew were bunny hug and the Ledge. I was in Belgium a few years ago and met an American who would go to Regina for "big shopping trips" as Regina was the closest big city to her. You pretty much did everything I'd recommend in the city, Rebellion (Mark the co-owner is a personality himself) and Coney Island Poutine is definitely worth a visit to scratch a poutine itch, though it's nowhere near as good as a real Quebec Poutine. Paralyzers though.. I have banned myself from ever drinking them ever again, very smooth but I mixed them with a bunch of Kokanees in my teens and it led to the worst hangover of my life! SO not worth it! If you ever do Winnipeg, it has to be in the dead of winter, middle of February, experience the coldest weather of your life, go to Festival du Voyageur and drink some Caribou (fortified wine and maple syrup) in an ice glass, skate the Assiniboine RIver at the Forks, go to a Jets game, eat chicken fingers and honey dill sauce, eat a Winnipeg Fat Boy burger, go on a tour of the Royal Canadian Mint to see where all of Canada's coins are made, a concert at the TImes Change(d) music venue, a visit to Feast Café bistro for an Aboriginal spin on modern cuisine and I highly recommend a visit to La Brasserie Nonsuch for a pint and a bite to eat (Le Burger, chips avec dip, high end cuisine) or a cocktail next door at Patent 5 Distillery.

You didn't explain what a bunnyhug is. A bunnyhug doesn't have a zipper while a hoodie does. It's not just Saskatchewan, but parts of Manitoba and Alberta also call it a bunnyhug. Wascana Park is not even the largest urban park in Canada. Wascana Park is only 930 hectares. Edmonton has the largest urban park in Canada. North Saskatchewan River valley parks system, also known as the Ribbon of Green or the River Valley Parks is the largest. It is a continuous collection of urban parks around the North Saskatchewan River valley in the Edmonton Metropolitan Region of Alberta. The park system encompasses over 7,300 hectares (18,000 acres) of parkland, making it the largest contiguous area of urban parkland in the country. The park system is made up of over 30 provincial and municipal parks situated around the river from Devon to Fort Saskatchewan, with trails connecting most of the parks together. If Meewasin Valley in Saskatchewan was a park, it would dwarf Wascana. Mewassin Valley is 6,700 hectares. The largest urban park in the world is Chugach State Park in Alaska. It encompasses 495,199.2 acres or 200,400 hectares. If you're going to give information, do so accurately.
