I'm sorry, but you're a fool. If you can't find a good man here there's something wrong with you. Nigerian men just want to marry American women for a Visa. You're pretty much getting a mail order groom.
@VictorOtoke5 жыл бұрын
Yea, its a dream coming true for me like a prophesy. Another American lady shared her own sweet Nigerian husband experience she even met over there and someone said Nigerian men again? Are they so unique? And i replied, it must not be negativity about Nigeria all the time. And in fact, that a time will come when men and women from Europe and America will be coming to Africa and Nigeria in particular to get a spouse. And here we are. Other things aside Nigerian mothers do well on our upbringing and Nigerians are loved globally but such love is hidden underneath negativity and expressed on a one on one basis. You know am correct. Thanks for sharing a positive and being bold coming to Naija. God bless your marriage our wife.
@NaijaWife4Life5 жыл бұрын
I find this to be exactly true. Nigerian men are respectful, loving, gentle and kind. They value family over all...something that has become so obsolete here in the US. My cousin also married a man from Senegal just last month. I can't wait to return to Nigeria again next month. Thank you for leaving a comment. Nobody wanted me to go... Ive been to Lagos a few times since then... In 3wks I'll be there since everything has opened up from COVID... There is a straight flight to Nigeria from Atlanta to ease your travel time... I get so annoyed with their electricity issues. When they see us "oyinbo" (whites) they all think we are rich

I met my Nigerian husband online too. He lived in Rome at the time. I visited him there 3 times, staying a month each time. Then Covid restrictions kept us apart for 8 months. We hated that but it was a good test for our relationship , which thrived ! Finally things opened up again and i travelled to Rome again, this time to bring him home with me. So he came to UK where we both live now. We were engaged Sept 2020 and after he came to UK we married Oct 2021. We video call his family regularly, they are so accepting of me ( even tho we have a large age gap! ) Thank you for info on this video because I am so excited to go to Nigeria this year for the first time. I keep hearing immigrants in Nigeria talk about people asking them for money and I think I should set this straight. In Nigeria, we ask everybody for money. *We give money in Nigeria like you give hugs, kisses and flowers in America. It’s a very casual thing.* You chip it in jokingly and many a time, it is a joke... “See how you’re looking so fresh today, anything for your boy/girl?” Even middle class and rich people also make casual monetary demands of each other. It’s nothing serious. *People asking you for money isn’t just because you’re American, it’s a casual culture we have here.*

A very dear friend of mine is in love and wants to go to Nigeria to meet and merry the love of her life. I have been terrified of the idea. I haven't expressed myself to her because she is a grown woman who will make her own choices and I don't want her to feel I'm against her because I'm not against her, I'm just worried. So I decided to search some videos about other womens experiences. Yours is the first video I have clicked on so far so I really want to thank you for this. You have eased my mind quite a bit. I really hope my friend has the same amazing luck in love, trust and travel as you have managed. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us.

I certainly understand your concerns. 100% of my friends and family were concerned and 100% of his friends and family were concerned. Following my heart all the way to far Africa was a very bold decision and it was a huge risk to take....but...I'm soooo glad that I was strong enough to do it. I'm so glad I didn't listen to all my friends. For the first time in my life I followed my heart and my instincts and it turned out amazing. I am so in love with my husband and I was when I went to Africa for that first time....nothing could have stopped me. I felt like it was God's plan...and I still believe it IS God's plan. Good luck to your friend. Nigeria is an amazing country and the people are warm and kind. She'll have a lovely time there I am convinced. Try to support your friend even if your worried and scared. I can promise you she has no support in this from any of her friends or family. They're just so afraid of what they've heard and read. I understand but when you're going thru it without any support you feel in love but alone. Then if she decides to marry her man and go thru immigration...she's REALLY going to need the love and support from her friends and family. Immigration is so hard for any newlywed couple she'll really need you when she's going thru that. Good luck to you both. You're in my prayers.

Vanja, Thanks for sharing. I just traveled to Lagos, Nigeria. Arrived April 2 & returned on April 12. My friends & family were terrified for my safety. But I stayed at the Legend Hotel Lagos Airport Curio Collection by Hilton. Has super security, guard at gate, and they screen luggage & people before entering. I was so happy to spend time with my fiance there. I am going to start a fiance visa to bring him to the US to get married, normally 7-9 months, but may be longer. I am still sad though, because my friends & family still think I'm a victim of a romance scammer, and are saying that they don't want to meet him if he does come over. He's just the sweetest man, and we are in love, so am hoping they will change their minds over time.

@@prettyeyes1752 yes you’re right. In general, a person who wishes to immigrate to the United States must have a petition approved by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) before applying for an immigrant visa. Am an Nigeria, I also leaves in Nigeria. We are good and fun to he with, but to tell you the truth. Nigeria is fun only when u visit. If you leave here you will be frustrated with the government corruption, the police brutality, the unchecked crimes. How criminals go free but the innocents are punished for single mistake. How justice is given depending on who you are and who you know. Infact the government prefer you to be a nuisance than to be a civilised employer of labour because they will descend on you with all manner of illegal taxation.

I have been communicating with a man from Igbo Land since November and I feel he is sincere and a genuine person who's spirit is alive! It's tricky for travelling ATM( particularly if un-vaccinated) as isolation is required in Nigeria. He is in a professional football academy too which means he has very little money and the financial cost would be down to me. My heart keeps telling me to go for it, but the Covid travel restrictions seem to be a huge barrier for us both, not to mention the other vaccines I may need to enter Nigeria. Any advice/thoughts ?
@nelsonisrael70192 жыл бұрын
You don't have a problem, COVID restrictions is not a barrier here any longer, all you need is your COVID card and face mask. Follow your heart and go for your man, There are lots of sincere Nigerians, millions of them. Please go and get your man and take him to USA. You will never regret it.

Its rather unfortunate that ur first experience in Nigeria you where welcomed with power outage , really is annoys me y a country so blessed in everything yet cursed with bad leaders . regardless I know very soon the era of this bad leaders will be over and u will understand y this country is so unique . ones again u are welcome to the family our wife

Thank you so much for sharing this 💕 you've pretty much covered everything that I wanted to know...my family and friends are sceptical and are against me going to Nigeria to meet my partner who I have been dating online for 2years now and we do plan to marry.. I have spoken to his parents and siblings and have already been accepted into the family aswell as my partner and my mother met through video call and my mother finally just recently gave us her blessing and agreed to me going to meet him so coming across this video gave me that extra boost again as I had lost hope due to everyone's negativity and with Covid 19 setting my Yoruba man and my plans back also...his family are so loving and supportive and I could only imagine what it would be like to meet them in person, the way you described your experience is kinda what I was expecting my experience to be like.. Thanks once again and God bless 🙏🏼

You're more than welcome. I too had a lot of negative information before I left for my first trip but I HAD to follow my heart and my intuition and I'm so so glad I did. Yes it was just an amazing experience and I had the best time. You will too. They're so welcoming! The covid 19 stuff can be discouraging but hang in there. It'll pass soon. I wish you guys nothing but the best. It's a long journey and it's not easy to go thru immigration but if he's truly the right man for you, the waiting is worth it all when he's home with you in the end. Good luck and God bless!

@NaijaWife4Life3 жыл бұрын
I traveled to Nigeria and got married there. I stayed for a month my first trip. It was romantic and amazing and beautiful. I highly recommend getting married first and then filing a CR1 visa (immediate family/spousal visa). Overall it's cheaper and more likely to be approved. Also if for any reason should your husband be denied, you can file an appeal with a CR1 visa. My group page talks a lot about some of those issues and many others.... facebook.com/groups/2748093882116669/
