Would you do a video on the 54th New York Infantry Marker at Rock Creek? It took me 4 attempts to find that marker. I’d also like to know more about the Infantry if possible.

I went looking for the carved rock at 7:30 and I couldn't find it. I'm fairly certain I was in the right place, but the rock was smooth. Hopefully not ground down...

@@AmericanBattlefieldTrust that is really disappointing. I wonder what happened. It's not in a spot that most people would normally be treading.

Jump around more! The action there wasn’t sublime and measured. It was organized chaos. The men that died there and the survivors deserve that it be told with great enthusiasm.

You'll never get it perfect, nor will we ever know all the exact details of every battle/skirmish ... but Gary's, Dan's and Doug's depth of knowledge and enthusiasm always inspires me to dig a little deeper into their other video's .... besides the bigger tactical analysis, I love how they also cover the more personal stories, details and the environments the soldiers and command had to negotiate ... I'm a Yankee with family that fought on both sides .... the bravery and heroism shown by these men continues to keep me in awe ... such a sad period in our history that shows when men can't compromise on ideology, friction and war often follow .... as the old joke goes ... someone once asked the Dali Lama what effect the French Revolution had on the world ... he pause, smiled and said .... "Too early to tell"

Weed was taken to the Jacob Weikart house correct? I remember reading Tillie Pierce's account and I think he was the one she sat next to in an upstairs room while the soldier watching him left for a short time. I think she said something to the affect of the name Weed always stuck in her mind.

I love the content but you guys are so hyped up it's hard to listen to. Is it the effect of the histrionic movements and speech of Mr Adelman that makes everyone try to emulate the exaggerated and spasmodic presentation? Slow down - let it sink in - don't spaz! I gave it a thumbs up for content. I've had this problem before watching Mr Adelman - uncomfortable - can't do it.

Why do they speak like their running a nascar race? Would be so much better if they would calm down a bit. I mean the confederates aren’t going to attack in just a few mins 🤦♂️. What’s the big rush??
