@@ZenMasterGeebut that’s how Andy skates in his videos. He’s obsessive about being able to complete a clean run. You gotta admit, it’s impressive to be so consistent with such technical tricks. As an amateur skater myself, that takes a lot of practice 😅

If you don't land a complete run, then obviously you'll have a hard time beating complete runs, that makes perfect sense. Consistency is part of the contest, you gotta be able to consistently land it, not just able to land it sometimes, in theory.

My favourite skater. Love the helmet too when I skate anything new or hard I try to use my knee pads and helmet atleast at the beginning. Making it cool to be safe like Mullen gets the utmost respect 🤙🏽

Having pads on gives you the confidence you need to conquer whatever your skating goals are, whether it's a transition line at your local park or a new flip tricks you're trying to learn, they have helped me get much farther than I ever thought I would

@@robreeto it’s funny you say this now because I learned boardslides a few days ago and that’s what I was saying in my video is I didn’t fear the pain of falling anymore I was wearing my gear for the mental aspect of feeling free to try whatever and it worked! Completely forgot I made this comment I’ve grown so much since then and Andy is still my favourite skater 😂

there is something u can't explain about the flow a skater can have, Andy Anderson has'nt what Yuto Horigome has (one of the flowest skateboarder ever for me). Relaxation and confidence of the landing is all about in my opinion

@@TIZFUNK It’s documented though… Street Survival was released in ‘88. We filmed it in ‘87 and ‘88. Andy said in his Nine Club interview that he watched it a bunch when he was young. Keep lying and accusing others of lying; that’s all you. You’ll either get over it or you won’t. Not my concern.

Go watch a mullen contest run in the 80s.. he was consistent and much more skilled and high level. When he switched to street he was even better. You simply can't compare the two. Rodney was better at old-school and new school 100 percent .

To be fair he bailed his big trick at the end of both runs, I do agree that he gets judged unfairly for being different at times, but this is not a great example.

on variety alone, they need to start scoring other MFs at a 7 or less, give this man his trophy. Let him get one clean competition without the outside influences trying to send kids helmetless down 10sets. #EVILJUICE ps, im not even sure about my claims, but I bet if you looked into it, you would be surprised to learn I am correct.

AA is the reason skateboarding still a thing here in Canada, our scene is all but pretty much dead. go to local skatepark no one can land anything and all you see bunch chimpanzee flinging poo at each other.
