I remember this!. I was 14 and in highschool. Those were the days where if you had any curves at all, you were considered FAT! Body shaming was everywhere especially in those magazines you see at every supermarket back then. Early 2000s were hard and even worse if you were coloured. Keep in mind we didnt have as many refugees here as we do today. It was hard for me personally being of middle eastern backround plus i was chubby so it was extremely hard!

I was the same age then and 14 year old me wishes I could give 14 year old you a hug!! I come from a mediterranean family and had so much pressure to be super skinny at that age, which I wasn't. Watching this with my family and my dad agreeing with those comments was pretty damaging. Damn those years were harsh!

So i never got to the end of this video, but am glad I did. I just have to say, those two male judges shouldn't be judging. I mean it's a singing competition, why the hell would that last judge say such a thing. That was just straight up MESSED UP!!! As far as Paulini, she can bloody sing. This is a tough song because you kinda have to sing it fast and it can be difficult to dance while singing it. But great effort anyway.
