I used to have chronic migraine and some form of depression then I started working with a physical therapist who focused on desensitizing the brain stem. it took a bit of work and now I am pretty much free of both. it would be great to see more people talking about how the 2 are linked because I can totally see how they are.

Thank you so much for this informative video. I've suffered for 30+ years with daily headaches including more frequent migraines now in my early 60's. I've never been able to get an accurate diagnosis or treatment so this video has enlightened me tremendously! I would like to know where Dr. Baskin is located if possible or if he does teledoc-type consult?

People with Familial Hemiplegic Migraine, especially with a strong family history and other concerning neurological symptoms, should consider if they have the cerebral small vessel disease CADASIL (Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy). A significant number of people with CADASIL will have migraine (with or without aura).
