Yeah I sold my 92 GT (all original less than 10k miles) and bought a 17 GT PP with 10k miles for what I got out of my fox (well actually about 3 grand less, 30 for the 92 and 27 for the 17). I just love the gen 2 coyote and those headlights are the best. That’s why the gt350 and 500 have them.

I hope I never hear someone complain about 600hp. I wish my mustang had that much
@daalezzwalkthrough20074 жыл бұрын
Will Whatley when you spend a fat check for all the parts and also when you spend literally half of the year saving up (max) and when you see other people w the same build but w more hp and also if your doing all the mods yourself I’d expect at the very least for the car to pull 250-300 horse perrss more, 190 is shameful
@midnight3473 жыл бұрын
@@daalezzwalkthrough2007 there is alot left on the table a gen2r can make alot more...that twin 60 tbody is killing power that and its prob limited by the fuel. If its only at 600 wheel with long tubes it has to be a conservative setup.
@midnight3473 жыл бұрын
@@daalezzwalkthrough2007 it dont have enough fuel to run more than the very conservative boost level its running and it has that restrictive stock gt500 tbody on it. With some better fuel mods and pulley down with a bigger tbody it would jump up above 700 pretty easily there is more to it than just what blower it is running you gotta have fuel upgrades to get the most of a setup people dont seem to understand that. It isnt an indictment on am or this blower he just simply dont have enough fuel mods to go above where they are safely. If you see someone with significantly more power on these cars with this blower they have more fuel mods and/or better fuel and better tbody and more aggressive pulley combo plain and simple.

If I remember correctly, you can push around 610 to 620 RWHP with the Phase 2 Roush Supercharger, without any other bolt-ons either! So for those who are unfortunate enough to have very strict emissions, and wanna have fun, but not get in trouble, it's certainly not a bad way to make some decent power, since both the Phase 1 and Phase 2 blowers are 50-state compliant (at least for the Gen 2 Coyote, unsure about Gen 3).

Plenty of power, did he address the two piece driveshaft, clutch, half shafts, and the cast aluminum shifter linkage? Nice build love the f14 Forgestar's!
@americanmuscle4 жыл бұрын
Not at this time Scotty. Since the owner didn't have any immediate plans to throw a sticky tire on and go drag racing, they aren't as necessary. He did upgrade the clutch, prior to the power and the shifter linkage wasn't a problem in the 15-17 cars. -Justin
@AB-coyote3 жыл бұрын
I’ve had the same kit on my car for 10,000 miles. Stock clutch, shifter and driveshaft. No issues at all. I’m sure repeated hard launches on a prepped surface would expose the weaknesses though but for a fun street car most of those factory parts are fine.
@rickmassey1272 Жыл бұрын
600 rwhp is the perfect amount for a daily. You actually get to enjoy the car instead of the experience of constantly replacing parts that comes with 800-1000rwhp.
