dont really need them the 3m is more than enough to stop the water from getting in ... theres no sealing from the factory spoiler either minus the 3m

I feel sorry for the owner of that Mustang. You ARE NOT a very neat worker. The holes you drilled were off-center, but the worst part is that you DID NOT PRIME and paint around and underneath the holes. This area is where the Mustang will start to rust. Other than that, your video is well-made and I thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Paint and prime would be a very difficult process with how the trunk is built . that's the whole purpose of the 3mm to prevent any moisture from seeping in through the drilled areas.

@@stefantaylor1693, come on man, all he had to do was: 1.- deburred the hole 2.- Use a small brush to prime the hole 3.- Use another small brush to apply touch paint. Unprotected metal WILL RUST even if it does not come into contact with moisture. I have some 2 1/2-pound metal weights that I do not use in my basement because they are too small, and they are all covered with rust.

I love this rear wing installed on this mustang. I have a 2015 mustang with no rear wing at all. Thinking of going with this one, but just don't like the chance of losing a screw nut. Also need a hole puncher. Thanks for the video

175 bucks for a primer spoiler and then how much to have it painted probably another 200 bucks then if you’re not real good mechanically how much to have it installed I think we’re gonna be up around 500 bucks all totaled

I haven’t done it but I assume it’s not bad, they have holes in the hood to access everything holding the spoiler down, it shouldn’t be any harder than putting the spoiler on

I have a 2020 mustang GT Black Accent Pack so it has the little duck lip spoiler. I want to upgrade to this. Does it use the factory holes? The reason I ask is because I’m pretty sure the spoiler my car came with already has the holes in the middle

Ordered this wing from the American muscle website and the 3m strips were printed the wrong way with holes in the wrong place, plus no template came with mine. Kinda disappointed with this being a “trustworthy” brand

I used a 3/4 hole saw and put another hole lower to outside of larger hole from factory took a 10mm wrench and bent it 90 degrees…bought 3/4 grommet to cover…looks factory

I noticed ALOT of the 21 and 22s I saw didn't need to be drilled. I would pause the video when they are drilling and see if a hole is there already. Or pop off your trunk lid lining inside and count center holes if there are 3 holes in center. 2 close one much further away you have a good shot at not having to drill

The matte black one is good the gloss one is the most worthless piece of plastic, the mounting holes for middle bracket DO NOT LINE UP, the cap for screw cover pegs have to be hammered in dimensioning is completely off
