I am totally impressed with how you conducted this segment on the AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake. I literally walked through every step while watching your video by pausing as I needed to. This was a fun Saturday project. Even a couple things that you mentioned on making a mistake, I didn't even consider it as a mistake. The way you taught this class surpasses a lot of other individuals who taught a separate segment on this. Your instructions were most easiest to follow along with. My install came out real nice. It's almost as if you were right there in my garage with me lol. Thank You my friend.

Note: For some unknown reason, AFE replaced the previous aluminum insert for the Intake temp sensor with a cheaper plastic version. Not sure if thats a good thing or not, but the other tricky part is attaching the AFE headlight duct to the housing and headlight opening without it coming loose in the process of trying to fit, and align the air filter housing. Definitely needs a better way of securing the tube. I used thin double stick weatherstrip foam to keep things from wobbling around and help in the positioning. I do have the correct afe tube, the notch on the tube doesnt lock into the air filter housing side adjacent to headlight rear opening. Also, the mounting location for the housing ( where grommet goes, is Not as well designed as the factory unit. Cheap cost cutting design evidence.

Should tell people to set the seal along the long edges instead of corners for a better seal

Use oil for the rubber prevent tearing rubber part

I get a lighting symbol for a second on start up but it doesn’t stay on…..should I be worried? Runs good as hell tho, it response faster is about it and I’m sure gas might be better but we’ll see but that pedal definitely reacts faster now

Unfortunately this intake is just for 11-19 3.6L V6s, it will not fit newer models. -Zach
