We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, eight years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in Chennai, India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. I had my lesson there too in Feb. I was actually just cooking a green and yellow curry and pad thai as this showed up in my feed. My pictures of the building didnt do it justice and so i showed my husband and we watched this together. It tasted just as good too. Our new favourite go to is chicken and coconut soup that i made there. Great video

As a Thai, I think the red curry is much hotter than the green one ( the colors come from the chillies). The yellow one is the hottest because it is a Southern style cooking. For me the Southern Thai dishes are the hottest. Btw, for me, the yellow curry is not a Matsaman มัสมั่น

The youngest in the family is bored stiff. Good cooking class for grown up but certainly for the kids and the little one the safety standards in the cooking class is not well thought through as yet. For example the height of the table, the tools safety and suitable equipment and supervision during class. Though it is a marvelous idea for the whole family to get involved as an all rounded activity that everyone takes part. ❤

@@carriejames5038 In Thailand we eat steam rice with side dish such as tom yum,tom kha kai(chicken coconut milk soup)green/red curry,panaeng curry,musamun curry,stir-fried vegetable,pad gra praw etc. This way of eating can reduce the spicy of curry if you put less curry soup on the rice dish and you will enjoy eating more.
