@@jeremyalexander9761 every movie theater I've been to in my state and 2 states over has it in stock. I've been to a rediculous amount of movie theaters. I don't think I'd encounter them as often if I was browsing through candy at super markets, but they're kinda everywhere in the Midwest at least.

And you can literally buy trollis almost in all of germany so no, it's not more of a staple in america. P.S.: Only in the US are Trollis owned by an american Company. Worldwide it is still owned by the original company in germany.

Fire Blaze if u become a citizen in America, then you become American. You have to realize white Americans are mostly made up from Europeans backgrounds. (Mostly German and Irish). Pretty sure it’s still a bigger staple in America knowing the fact that America is many times the size of Germany and you’ll see it everywhere here.

It's a typical German thing. I think the chips which come the closest in the US are the one which taste like "barbeque". They don't have erdnussflips either. Or Waldmeister...green jello tastes like lime in the US.

Most of them are unaware that Paprika (which they only call the dusted spice version) is the same as bell pepper and i believe outside of slavic and german cuisine the spice is not as omnipresent as it is here

Chipsfrisch Ungarisch are the BEST! I tried many many Chips from around the world, but i always come back to these... I used to love the classic Cheetos too, but now i only could eat a few - from the Chipsfrisch i always end up eating half the bag. ;)

@Sari, they were never that unpopular. It's only starting to ramp up now in terms of variety available (saw "golden oreos" for the first time just a few weeks ago), but oreos themselves have been in lots of supermarkets for quite some time.

Omg in Canada Smarties are small round rainbow chocolates (kind of like m&m's, but they taste better imo not as artificial tasting), and what the USA calls Smarties we call Rockets here and it confused me for a while lol. I think they changed it to Rockets here because the chocolate Smarties already existed and they didn't want to get sued. I like both candies.
