Perhaps she moved to the US a long time ago. I remember they didn't have Oreos in Germany about 10/ 15 years ago.

Not just for America. The German snacks were also quite standard... solid, but not the outstanding stuff. As they said, it’s the kinda stuff you take to parties, but not, what you would buy for yourself 🤣

Are they the same as what are called M&M's in the US? I believe it's also the case in the UK.
@alinamullender83005 жыл бұрын

@dowfreak75 жыл бұрын
Same as Mountain Dew/Root beer/Dr. Pepper etc. That stuff tastes disgusting in Germany and in the US it's the sweet sugar death that you'd expect, but at least it's tasty.
@punxie895 жыл бұрын
Omg in Canada Smarties are small round rainbow chocolates (kind of like m&m's, but they taste better imo not as artificial tasting), and what the USA calls Smarties we call Rockets here and it confused me for a while lol. I think they changed it to Rockets here because the chocolate Smarties already existed and they didn't want to get sued. I like both candies.
