In the Philippines, restaurant employees has better orientation, training before they start with their job. Employers trains employees to be friendly, courteous , and welcoming . In the US, associates/ employees are not very service oriented. Some can be rude. They really don’t do anything to promote their business.

It was mindblowing when I found out waitstaff don't get a salary in the US and have to live off tips. Over here some waiters/tresses are breadwinners for their family. Some of the higher-end restos have what's called a "service fee", that's essentially a tip built into every table's receipt that is shared with all the staff.

British productions like Bohemian Rhapsody or the Harry Potter series came out earlier in the Philippines. The Harry Potter books as well, were released earlier in the Ph than in the U.S. regulations maybe? Since they didn’t come from the US, the U.S. also imported them from the UK, but maybe faced more regulations in the States. Hollywood movies come out in the US and the Ph on the same day. 😅

100% agree with what they said about Phils as compared to the US. Been in the US multiple times and there’s really a big difference. I am not saying this because I am from the Phils; only agreeing with what they experienced only.

Why we Filipinos are friendly? Because....we strongly believe that " WHATEVER COLOR,SKINTONE ,RELIGION OR STATUS OF LIFE YOU HAVE,WE ARE THE SAME HUMAN AND WE STILL SECRETES THE SAME SH*T"..Meaning, we a.believe that we are still the same,have feelings,emotions,.deals with the same sadness and happiness that differs in a way, and we love to love ,to share and to be a friend...as long as you are genuine and have pure intentions

Places like PH, India etc. tend to have rampant pirating issues where some dude who can sneak a recording device into a US theater can make serious bank selling the recording. So to combat that, those countries would get their official release drop up to a week in advance so the usual piraters have gotten their fix with a much better (and legal) viewing experience that actually returns revenue to the studio. Back in the day I remember teasing my US friend with spoilers of the OG Spiderman triology.

Boracay is the place for beautiful beach and the bars and clubs are literally on the beach front. I love the Philippines. For a quieter time Bohol have beautiful beaches

There was a study about breads in the US supermarket I watched in YT. Breads stays for more than 6 months still molds free. As for the 20$ It’s almost nothing in the US due to the high cost of leaving. While that amount is 50X higher in the PH that it will take almost a week for a poor man’s stomach.
