Food is actually cheap here . India is a country where you can get the same food at 2 different prices . Like for example you can get 5 panipuri just for 10 rs from stalls but the same will cost you around 50-60 or even much more if you will buy it from Restaurant or any classy hotel

Been living in the rural indian countryside,I'm my 31 years, I've only seen 2 snakes in my life.... That was while i was out in the woods..and besides foreigners come to India,pay like 15$ for a room in one of the shadiest neighbourhood in town and say like "India is unsafe"... Nothing is cheap in india,you want to experience good life in india,pay a couple dollars more and enjoy life.

You can even see the kandyan dancers at the back. 5:33 has a hopper shop with Sinhala posters of Sri Lankan tea brand lipton laojee. pretty sure they are not from India.
