Couldn't help but notice the Elvis statue on the shelf, please do a You Tube search for "Freddie Starr And The Jordanaires - Don't", where Freddie sing with Elvis' back up singers "The Jordanaires", who went on to say he was the closest they had ever heard to Elvis, enjoy.

So sad that Freddie was another celebrity victim of accusations that weren't proven or were proven to be completely false. That he died in near poverty in Spain was a travesty. Thankfully he was brought home to rest with his family on Merseyside. Loved you Freddie for all the laughter.

I saw Freddie live . He was mad . And my mother fell off her chair laughing . I still remember how crazy he was . A Liverpool legend. He was a good singer and used to copy Elvis . He did all the pubs and clubs around Liverpool . Knew the Beatles . He won a talent contest on British TV and his fame came from that. I am a great fan after that night seeing him live .

Freddie Starr is without question my all time favourite British comedian. He was so unpredictable, neither the audience or those who knew him personally know what tricks he would pull from his sleeve. Sadly, I never got the chance to see the man himself live on stage. His last tour was back in 2015, four years before his death. My late Nan knew him before he was famous, back when he was just Frederick Fowell. Both of them were born in Liverpool, grew up in Huyton and even went to the same schools. Not to mention some of her ashes are buried in the same cemetery where Freddie is.

Freddy would bring mayhem to chat shows with his crazy antics and entertained us for generations. He is sorely missed. Sadly, his act and characters stayed the same and he proudly refused to change anything that made him a star, which resulted in ITV not renewing his contract and he was vilified for his " Ray Charles/Hitler " impressions in later years by our press. It didn't stop him earning a good living playing to sold out tour venues.

Love your reaction! Comedy genius! Saw Freddie on stage back in the 80's and for the first 30 minutes it was so subdued and it seemed like he was having a bad night! He was funny, but not hilarious and he sang a few Elvis songs, his voice was brilliant! Then suddenly someone heckled him from the crowd lol and it was like something triggered him lol...omg for the hour or so he was absolutely hilarious, totally unscripted! Still the funniest show I've been too. A legend from my younger days in the 70s and 80s. Love that you found him funny!

Freddie Starr was big here in the UK in the 90's. So sad when he died.. He was a comedy genius and as you witnessed had a great voice. His Elvis impersonation is something to behold - just great! I once saw him in one of his lives shows at a nearby seaside resort not far from here, and he really was quite outrageous but incredibly funny. Absolute bedlam. Probably thought as not ITV he could get away with a lot more. His shows he held around the UK had a warning - "If you are easily offended stay away" or words to that effect. Just great that people like yourselves and others can get such great pleasure. Miss you Freddie.

Guys, I'm so happy and glad that you have found a true legend that was indeed, Mr Freddie Starr. Aprt from his wacky comedy routines he was also one of, if not the best Elvis Presley tribute singers that had ever graced this world. Freddie was born and raised in my own home city of Liverpool/UK and made his name on the music scene back in the 1960's when the like's of The Beatles became huge around the globe. I beg of you guys to watch Freddie where he was guessed stared on the Des O'Connor show, i swear your sides will hurt for days after watching his preformance's on De's show. Thank you for being so appriciative of real british comedy and humour.
