btw that is not a towel that saji is wearing, it called a mundu which is a traditional clothing that u wear in the place of pants. its like a long rectangualr cloth that u tie around waist, men do fold and tie it again so it only reaches ur knees to make moving easier and just for comfortableness like wearing shorts

Congratulations Guys, you just found the best Content based movie Industry of India - Malayalam Movies, You Guys have already reacted to 3 Bollywood movies which actually are Frame to Frame Remakes of Malayalam Movies i.e. Drishyam 1&2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. So next time you get a cult following request for any Bollywood movie just google the movie name + remake because most probably its a remake from either of Southern Industry - Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu or Kannada, in that way you can see the original content not a high budget rip-off.

It would be great if you could call it Malayalam film/movie... If you have noticed people in the film Industry and allied industries never use terms such as 'Bollywood, Tollywood, etc... It is considered derogatory by people in the industry... We all have identities of our own and we stand out because of that... adding "......wood" makes it seem like we consider ourselves lesser cousins to Hollywood (which is again a place where most big studios are and even the people in that industry do not call itself that).... It is always Indian film (industry), Malayalam film (industry), Tamil Film (Industry) etc... Let us be proud of that as the industry is proud of it themselves... Just a suggestion....

This is one of the greatest movies to come out of Malayalam cinema industry. Good on yall for finding the indie arthouse filmbase of India. They have their own style of films and stories that's very different from bollywood, telugu and tamil industries. People rarely venture out this deep when getting into Indian movie industries. I hope you check out another innovative malayalam film called The Great Indian Kitchen. It's use of sound design + extremely realistic visuals tends to incite some very strong emotions in the viewers.

One thing about malayalam movies is the dialects and the way of speaking they use in CERTAIN movies makes the movie so much funnier or better. Like how Shammy talks is not necessarily a dialect i mean obviously it is. But just the way he talks is with such a psychotic feel in his voice. He's a good actor

What i really love about mollywood which lacks in other indian industrys. Is the lack of breaking the beauty standard. Not just about skin color. Malayalam movies do show more dark skinned people although theres still work left to be done its not perfect yet. However they break beauty standards. Like showing girls with not model like faces, darker skin, acne/pimples.
