Yeah Ethan spend 3 days in the hospital, his blood was turning too acidic, had way too much carbon dioxide in his blood. He says that before this incident he just took the simple inhaler and didnt have his regular checks, he now knows that he has Acute severe asthma, so he now has new medication that helps with this. He talks about this in the newest episode of his podcast Growing Paynes. Thanks for the video, always looking forward to tuesdays because of this!

For those that dnt know what acute severe asthma is, he basically could die from any asthma atack and normal inhalors won't work for him. He has had this all his life and not treated it correctly, cuz he didn't know he had it

They didn't seem to show him taking his inhaler a lot, only occasionally that confused me. Maybe he hasn't been told in the past due to not having it bad before, or they just didn't show it on camera, but if you need it then you can take that inhaler a lot - I think officially it's like 15 times for a single dose, very regularly, while having major problems. And doctors will tell you unofficially you can't realistically overdose, just be sensible with this information. He just seemed to be taking it very occasionally while struggling and waiting for help. As someone who has been close to death from completely closed airways, needs to have my own nebuliser, has been officially considered below 50% chance of surviving multiple times in the past, I was watching with my eye twitching thinking "just take it constantly, don't take chances!!!"

Side+ guy here: BTS was 1h 41mins - Vik was late to the shoot by 2 seconds and got a yellow - Ethan was trying his best to make it like a top gear video/vibe - BTS only followed Simon, Josh and Vik’s group - they were meant to go surfing in the sea but they turned up too late

In the UK you cant just lock the fuel pump to keep pumping when getting petrol, you have to stand there and squeeze it yourself. Even when you are holding it yourself it should stop automatically when the tanks full

The clip on petrol nozzle got removed at a lot of places all over the world 2 years ago because people walked away and the nozzle could malfunction which led to petrol just overflowing without stopping.

Simon’s charity funds school trips for schools/kids that can’t afford it so that’s really nice if they get to go on trips more often than us, I think we went on school trips in elementary school (US Georgia)

Two of the Sidemen have really been through a lot. Vik with his Chrons, and Ethan with now multiple trips to the hospital, due to Asthma. It's moments like those happening in videos, that puts the reminder out there, that even though they entertain on a weekly basis, that they are still human at the end of the day. The same goes for any content creator that you enjoy.

FYI about the refuelling scene, in Europe we normally hold the pump while we refuel. In my 8 years driving I've never seen someone put the pump in and then wait in the car. It also still automatically stops even if you hold it, I have no clue what JJ did 😂. I assume it's general European culture around refuelling a car to hold it, as it doesn't take that long.

Behz was in hospital for 3 days, he was in the resuscitation unit for quite a while because he couldn't breath on his own, and nothing they were giving him was helping. The scary things with severe asthma attack is that there is such a limitation on what hospitals can do. They can only give you something and hope you can eventually start breathing on your own.

Cliff Burton the original Bass-Player of Metallica died in an accident when they where driving from stockholm to kopenhagen. Burton was sleeping and the bus tipped over. He was thrown out of the window and was buried under the bus.

In the UK you can't leave the gas running and walk away you have to stand and hold it, but it does usually stop when it hits the top.... Not sure why it didn't work for jj there

There isn’t a clip on UK pumps, you have to stay and hold it. There’s a safety feature that cuts it off when the tank is full. JJ must have squeezed again as he was pulling it out

Lol raw milk has natural good bacteria that helps break down the lactose. When we pasteurize we kill all the good bacteria along with the bad. That plus casein in most milk is why so many people have dairy allergies today. But I wouldn’t get raw dairy unless it’s 100% pasture raised from a local farm. Otherwise the commercial milk is more likely to have bad bacteria and make you sick.
