The food going abroad only exposes our half assed attempts ta large scale farming. We're so dependent on crude and yet agriculture is such an important investment that we're missing out on. If our people can be smarter then they'll use this Nigerian food craze to increase the farming volume (making food cheaper in the country) and increasing food importation without having to deplete national food reserve (thereby helping the economy)

Don't get too comfortable when a Nigerian says 'Well done'. It could be a praise or insult. You can get a 'welldone: for fooling around, messing up or embarrassing yourself, that isn't an appreciation. If you don't understand sarcasm, you won't understand an average Nigerian. Eg 'Aunty, you do well' , 'put it on my head', 'your mouth sharp ', ' my God pass your own' etc
@Estheromoye3 ай бұрын
The respect the whites have for Nigerians stems from the precolonial era and how the Edo people and their Oba dealt brutally with the Portuguese who first came to colonize the region and defeated them. Years later, the British came and were vehemently resisted by the same Benin Empire of the Edo people. Even though they narrowly conquered them, the white people have since taken caution about Nigeria and respect Nigerians. Even with our history proving that we have always been powerful people, Nigerians always strive to do their best in any given endeavor. Lastly Nigeria has not only embraced christianity as a way of life, but is fast becoming a revivalists Nation. God bless Nigeria! 🇳🇬
