"All the neighbouring cities we call them trash ..." This is an old tradition. One of the most famous descriptive poems by our great poet Rupert Brook, The Old Vicarage Grantchester is about the beauty home and how the poet misses it while he is in Germany. In the middle it devolves into slinging insults at all the towns and villages near Grantchester. The wit is similar. I could see footballers chant "Ditton girls are mean and dirty, And there’s none in Harston under thirty" replacing the villages with rival football teams' towns.

The bottom 2 teams drop out into NON League Football and it can take 20 years to get back.

@@RealFansSports Thanks on this historic night as Luton Town has just played their first Home game in The Premier League after re-emerging from non-League football. I say "re-emerge" as they were in The Top League, which before 1992 was called, Division 1 . Luton, then over 2 decades, got relegated through the 2nd,3rd, and 4th Tiers into Non-League Football (5th Tier), and now after 4 Promotions have made it back to the top, where, like the other 2 Promoted teams, Burnley and Sheffield United they are one of the bottom 4 Clubs. THey lost 1/2 this evening and the gulf in class between our top 2 divisions has become a chasm..

I've often heard the "USA, USA, USA" chant at games from fans that have an American player who's having a good game. It's not that rare to be honest. Also chants of "Argentina, Argentina, Argentina" to the same rhythm too, when a player from there is doing well. Guess it's the number of syllables that make it work for USA and Argentina. Plus players from those countries have a reputation, for the most part, of putting in maximum effort and working hard for the team, which really connects with fans.

@@RealFansSports the team wasn't clearly visible, it's exactly the same colours though which led to the confusion. I don't even like NFL so it's always a fashion choice

@@mancuniansatanist9791 lmao I figured you just couldn’t read it. And damn I’m surprised you don’t like it. It’s fun to watch once you learn it

@@RealFansSports I watched the Super Bowl, a 60 minute match took 3 and a half half hours to complete. It should NEVER be the case there's more adverts and entertainment than actual sport. I can watch a 90 minute game of real football in less time
