Good Reaction Guys. That very last clip of heavy traffic was the entrance and exit to The Blackwall Tunnel from South to East London and vice versa which is 6 miles from where I live on the edge of London:)

One third of the world drives on the left. Originally all countries drove on the left. Europe changed because Napoleon changed it. The U.S. changed from the left because of a large truck that they used.

There is always a reason for everything, you just have to do your research. 195 countries in the world of which 70 odd drive on the left including Australia and NZ equating to 35% We walk on the left side of the pavement, we go up stairs on the left hand side and come down on the left. That way everyone knows where they are going. Same on the escalators and travelators, keep to the left and free up the right for those who want to go up faster. Works for us. Same as the right hand side works for others.

Something we don't think about. Visiting a country that is the opposite to your own. We all look in the direction of oncoming traffic first before we cross the street and it's automatic, we've done it all our lives. I have no doubt this is a cause (if a minor one) of tourists getting hit by cars in other countries. Simply look the wrong way, step out and smack.
