Fish and chips follows this as well, you won't see too many people not squeezing the lemon on the fish, it helps cut down on some of the grease, and enhances the taste, tar tar sauce is also sometimes introduced to fish and chips if there isn't a lemon. Because its slightly sour, and is a viable replacement. Do not base one person opinion on the whole country, What you like to eat is all up to you, but don't judge people's opinions. Thank you
