@@JerseyLoveee it depends on how you pronounce the "qaf" ق letter, which varies throughout the arab world. in egypt (and i believe in the levant) it is dropped as a glottal stop so its "ba lawa" (there is no way to write a glottal stop in english, but it's when you stop a word short, as in "uh-oh.") other dialects variously pronounce this letter as a deep, throaty k sound (more like a q, but even further back in the throat) or as a g, but "khhhh" is definitely not one of the options. if you don't know arabic perhaps you are mishearing/misrecognizing the sound?
