Well, I gotta appreciate on how Americans love our snacks on their first time eating them. As a Filipino, I'm really amused. They might be cheap, but very good in taste (especially Bread Pan, which is my favorite in this vid). I laughed myself off when one of your friends just snatched away the Fudgee Barr and never eats in on cam to give it a review. It'll be funnier if she realizes that Fudgee Barr is a Filipino rip-off of Twinkies. Anyway, I just came from one of XiomaNYC's videos (which was from two years ago) where he gave strangers some Jollibee dishes to try and react in Times Square, because the 8th Avenue branch opened when the video was made. One guy says that our Filipino-made Spicy Chickenjoy is better than Popeye's, Bojangles, and KFC. I also appreciate KFC, but Chickenjoy is still Filipino's favorite. But for now, it's one of America's favorite fried chickens, proving that Jollibee is world-class. Imagine this, some stores (e.g. Walmart, Target) selling imported Filipino goodies so Americans can have cheaper alternatives for their trusted consumer products. They'll be like "They're better than what we used to buy." Not bragging there but that was my expectation, according to what I saw in this video. And this is something I loved to see; Americans appreciating our local products, and seeing Americans and Filipinos being friends and getting along to each other during the rise of Asian hate crimes.
