If you think that's bad, wait till you look into the nonsense fruit and vegetable corporations have done over the decades.

The head guy wanted to try coffee and it was burnt and he thought it was strong. They had too many pots and it burnt before he tried it. He knew nothing about coffee and now most people don't know either.

I still have never bought anything from a Starbucks. I am a Tim Hortons fan in Canada. I do however occasionally get a Starbucks cold Frappuccino in caramel from 7/11. I'm not willing to pay $5 for a cup of coffee.

Venti means 20 in Italian which means a large hot drink at Starbucks is 20 ounces. Venti is used even to refer to large Cold Drinks but those cups in spite of also being called Venti ie 20 are actually more than 20 Ounces. Venti just means large by now, except for on their hot drinks where 20 ounces is still the size of the Venti.

Starbucks failed in Australia. And that is because for the last 40 to 60 years we down under have had a very large coffee culture we go out for the experience of a proper cafe style coffee. Starbucks came in with their business model and eventually found out that they were losing money in the Australian market, and they decided to pull 90 to 95% of their Starbucks. And I do believe that today you can really only get Starbucks coffees in the 7/11’s that are down here. And they are a push a button and you get the coffee then you go up and pay for it. There’s no barristers to serve you.

We don't want to have coffee chains here in Australia. Australians are serious about drinking good coffee and there are plenty of individual coffee shops that have been trained to make perfect coffee out of the best bean's that are available to them
@FrogmanAnimeАй бұрын
@@gregirwinwallace8706 so very true. When I go out for coffee I want a great cup I can enjoy…Starbucks will NEVER achieve this. Especially with their business model.

Sorry, but Americanos, cappuccinos, lattes, and the like weren’t all that common in Europe until Starbucks showed up. Most people just drank and still drink espressos, ristrettos, and lungos… I recently discovered cold brew and love it...

I cant stand starbucks coffee it always tastes burnt for me as well !! there was a blind taste test done a bit back and they did it in multiple states the 3 coffees were just a plain iced coffee from Mcdonalds one from dunkin and one from starbucks ..... Most of the people said the starbucks one tasted burnt and the winner was surprisingly the Mcdonalds one ..... Dunkin got second place
