Not knocking the channel however working in the HVAC field makes me a filter expert , So filter quality and filter flow are the true elements of filtration, while the Roush system looks cool the real question is How much dirt is getting through to the engine which is important for a daily driver. Now that honestly brings us to the next fact ! A clean paper filter will produce better h.p. then a dirty filter and yes running Premium fuel helps . But a quality paper filter thats clean filters less dirt for a month or so but also allows better air flow and a dence filter thats dirty is a terrible thing in a home or automotive. Lets find a happy medium filter that traps dirt and breathes properly and usually that filter will be designed by the manufacturer such as motorcraft or G.M. Aftermarket paper filters such as Wics or Puralater are good choices also. Changing out the intake is an expensive not necessary option for a daily driver.

Hello American Trucks Ford, why is the horsepower and torque different on the dyno than the numbers reported from ford directly? thank you.

Ford and other manufacturers measure HP and TQ at the crank shaft, where as a chassis dyno (like the one shown in our video) measures HP and TQ and the wheels. Wheel HP/TQ is typically 10-15% less than crank power due to what is called drivetrain loss- basically the power used to turn the drivetrain/wheels. Hope this helps! -Justin

Has anyone ever tuned out the phaser problem the 18-19s are having? The dealer uploads a can map that sucks. But has an actual tuner ever successfully tuned them out ?

Unfortunately its something with the VCT solenoid that can't really be 'tuned out'- its an oiling issue that will ultimately need to be replaced. (The solenoid that is) I'm suffering the same issue on my 19 GT. -Justin

I'd have to check with Roush about the calibration but the intake should be completely fine. -Justin

Technically the intake would, but the calibration is way different as there were some substantial changes made to the Gen 3 Coyote. There are dedicated Power Pacs for your gen though, if you're interested Michael. -Justin
