Fort Davis National Historic Site - Guardian on the Frontier

Fort Davis National Historic Site is one of the best surviving examples of an Indian Wars' frontier military post in the Southwest. From 1854 to 1891, Fort Davis was strategically located to protect emigrants, mail coaches and freight wagons on the Trans-Pecos portion of the San Antonio-El Paso Road and on the Chihuahua Trail (NPS Website).

What a neat place! Love how much conservation has been put into it and that it is hands on. Looks like you had a great time there. This was a cool fort to give us a history tour of. I like how you were going back-and-forth cutting between the Ranger talking and the scenery. It look like there were some cool looking rock pinnacles surrounding the fort. Another cool video my friend.
