Beautiful episode! We have our sights set on mid-September 2023 for a trip in that direction. The colors shown here for early October help to confirm that it will be a good time frame. I LOVE the local people you often showcase in your videos. The Farm Stand gentleman is truly a wonderful soul. Thanks for including your time with him. I always appreciate your travels and enjoy our time ‘together’, both here and at your church services! Take care always😊

This video has smooth cinematic flow and rhythm to it. That Joseph guy who gave you a ride is a salt of the earth kinda' guy. I would buy maple syrup from the roadside stand dude just to make his day because he makes an honest living. I bet that Asian couple told all their friends "We met Steve from Pennsylvania, the guy with the America's Parks KZbin channel!". The only thing that would of made this video better is if you finally randomly ran into Mike Singletary.

Wow Deja vous! I was the Green Mountain Club shelter adopter for David Logan Shelter for many years, visiting 3 x's per year to do maintenance and report conditions to the club. Also, you should see Moss Glen Falls in the winter, totally frozen! BTW that is not a pit toilet it is a fully accessible composting toilet recently installed by the GMC. They are trying to replace all pits at shelter/camp sites on the Long Trail.

Really cool, Robert! Appreciate your work to maintain these fine facilities. And thanks for the note... didn't go inside, but never would assume those were composting toilets.

My mom received food stamps (help)when we were kids. She was a single mom And my dad was not in the picture. She went on to become a RN. I think without some help this would have been even more of a struggle to achieve. Just because you receive some help does not make you a lazy person. A lot of people struggle with basic needs for a variety of reasons.

Been waiting for someone to make this comment. There are always exceptions to the rule. The point is your mother had the ability to work and it appears she worked very hard. People like this should be honored. Those who want a free handout at the expense of others should not. The key word in the man's comment was "lazy." Your mother was far from lazy.

Republican governor Scott and Sanders are popular in Quebec and Ontario and senator Bernie Sanders is more popular in European countries than America and when you have Republican and independent and democratic working together that what makes a better place in the world and worldwide news outlets calling Vermont the Scandinavia style state in America and Vermont will never give up guns because of the revolution war started in Vermont and destroyed the British years ago and Sanders turned Vermont into a liberal state because it was a Republican state for over a century until mayor Bernie Sanders from Burlington got elected and senator Bernie Sanders pushed community health care centers all over Vermont and alot of arts and culture and Vermont has alot of books stores and libraries all over Vermont
