Randy, this was so well done...very professional! I even watched it a second time to show it to my son, who just started his own outdoor channel. This was so helpful, and I learned a lot! You are a natural vlogger! My mind is boggled that this video does not have like ten thousand views already! I think its only a matter of time before your channel explodes!

Randy, Excellent instructional video of how to VLOG. OK, it’s official - I have watched all your AMERICA’S PARK videos now. This is my last one of your first 285 videos, how appropriate that it be the behind-the-scenes highlight! We will keep watching all your videos over and over again, and keep an eye out for the new ones. Your vlogging is outstanding, with kindness, positivity, and wisdom. Never having a goal to show everything there is to possibly see, but to inspire us to go there. A tease of what the park has to offer, and some sights not to miss. You have a special knack for making us feel we are with you on each hike or overlook. Awesome editing and most of all, I hope you enjoy and have fun making these videos as much as we enjoy watching them. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING, . . . Mike

I think as creators who are constantly trying to improve our vloggs, we sometimes get side tracked by all the so called experts who claim to have the answers and processes to build a successful channel. I know I have watched to many of those "How to build your channel" videos telling you what you need to do to be successful. Your video puts it all back into context. Just be yourself and share your experience in your own natural way. After watching your video, I sat back in my chair and to a sigh of relief. I have been concentrating more on what to do after uploading a video rather then concentrating on how I convey myself in the videos. Thank you, and very well done.

That was a super-encouraging comment to read - thank you, your genuineness meant a lot to me! I have learned that we will never compete with Hollywood, but they are actors and many people enjoy seeing the reality of another's life. Keep it real and keep having fun! -Randy

Yep! I knew I have found something good when I saw your compilation of parks some days ago. Today, early in the morning, I decided to start waking up with one of your videos and randomly chose this one. It ended up being not about watching beautiful views, it was even better, it was food for thought. You surprised me again. And it is not just about the valuable technicalities you offer, I enjoyed listening to a person that knows how to enjoy life, that loves other people and that takes time to teach love. Yes, love doesn't seem to be a subject to be taught at first, but it is. Sharing with others how to be successful is love towards those strangers. What you said about angry people and how not to respond with more darkness was so beautiful to hear... you got me not only as a subscriber but as a real follower in need of faith. Faith in the goodness of humans. I am an immigrant and, since I have a slight accent, I endure the daily pain of being questioned (or attacked) every day. And I practice not to engage in the negative but to show what I can contribute to help. 95% of the time I end up having nice conversations and being accepted and I have made very good friends. But, having to prove that you "come in peace" is exhausting. You lose your faith and become more reclusive. You give me faith. How about that to go with coffee in the morning? HA! Thank you!

@@AmericasParks I really appreciate you are grateful for the gifts received. I believe everybody gets gifts of some sort throughout their lives but many of those gifts go unapreciated. When we are grateful for what we get, we somehow absorb more blessings, we induce that change somehow... positivism, faith, joy... I don't know the exact formula for happiness but gratitude is certainly the road to it. So, keep smiling, sharing, and being grateful and positive! Thank you again!
