Hi Lilly, Both countries are wonderful and each one has their pros and cons (laid back and uptight aspects)! Thanks for your video (as always). You have a relatable, positive and very likeable presence in your creations!!
I totally enjoyed this upload! Seeing things from both American and Japanese perspectives! I am a Japanese expat living in Canada. After all these years, I have not been used to "small talk" here in Canada. It is friendly enough, but I desperately try to avoid it! (especially in a time of COVID!).
Hello! I am the opposite of you and I born in the United States. I came to Japan over 30 years ago, but I'm still in culture shock. I'm struggling with a fundamentally different way of thinking and background, but I acting myself every day. I still have very exciting days every day! I enjoying everyday! 😁✌️
Embrace the chill Lilly! :D Hopefully you know that it's not out of disrespect! We often don't want to tell people how to do things here (freedom!!) and thus our respect for each other is respecting another person's freedom. It can mean letting people get away without the right paperwork, or managers letting employees work how they want. It also means you can order your food the way YOU want! :)
I miss you so much!!
