Thank you for appropriately conveying the PB&J passion in the intro, Kevin :D And thank you for overtly refusing the (lovely! But not quite pb, let's be real) peanut whip that you find easily in Japan I have to say, I'm mildly disappointed you didn't do diagonal cuts, but I get it, I get it... horizontal cut is the rustic, gritty, real-life version. I think PB&J is hard because it really depends on personal preference for perfect ratios, PB types, J types, heck, even bread types. It's an art form, let's be real. Each and every one of us are connoisseurs with various personal preferences (which makes me appreciate your critical eye for your work at 6:29 - beautiful). I have to be honest. Pretty sure most of us in the US only love PB&J into adult-hood due to nostalgia, because it is super sweet, and something a little odd. I dunno that I'd ever describe it to someone as "really tasty" but maybe I'm just being a snob... Anymore, I get behind peanut butter and honey more than peanut butter and jelly, especially as a nice breakfast item or dessert, on toasted bread, with some cinnamon sprinkled on top... 🤤 though it's been awhile since I've had either... maybe it's time for the first PB&J in awhile - thanks for helping me get back to my childhood, and glad it went over well - honestly I'm surprised it wasn't too sweet and too odd (fruit jelly/jam with peanut butter isn't a combo I'd think of as an adult)!

I love how you went into this whole elaborate expression of your love and admiration for PB&J 😂 BTW I also agree with the peanut whip part.

@@sakurasuzuki9575 Haha I don't know what to say for myself except that apparently I was inspired ... lol Glad I'm not alone on the peanut whip!

@@mrahzzz your love and appreciation of pb&j does shine as well as your attention to details. Personally, I would have put less jelly since it has a tendency to slide out when put together and even Kevin had to agree the PB was losing to the jelly although he was adamant the PB needed to be increased and not to decrease the amount of jelly. Side note, in my former job working with mentally ill patients coming out of psych wards in jail and prisons, some hated to have peanut butter and jelly because the jails they were in were so underfunded that was the only meal they had inside unless they wanted to pay for something at the commissary. They said they ate more pb&j than anyone should in a lifetime and more.
Before I moving to Canada, I have never even interested in PB&J. But now it's everyone's favourite in my family. I think it would be ampan in Japan, or it's much more widely loved. I prefer Canadian peanut butter much more than Japanese one. It tastes natural and flavourful! And thank you for featuring it in your video!
