Prem, the reality 👍. And the comparison to sushant is seriously true. Arathi interviewing you is nice too. You forgot about iPhones, most of us living here get and gift iPhones. The annual contract for the phones is one more mandatory expense too 🙂. You also forgot about the other activities fees for kids like martial arts, piano, music, and summer camps 🙂. All these expenses are mandatory if you have 5Yrs and above kid. Awesome video friend. Great job.

Yes true.... I should add mobile expenses and the plan easily will go 50$ per line... yes kids activities also i forgot to mention.. thanks for mentioning 👍

Unplanned expenses such as friends gatherings such as Bday / wedding day parties either in own home or friends home leads to expense of $20 to $2000/- As well as sudden health care expenses which insurance doesnt cover / out of pocket, also vehicle repair expenses. going out for holidays may cost $1000 and above, kids extra learning initiatives such as music or swimming, day care expenses etc.

You both are amazing pa.. almost you replied 90% comments 👏👏👏 I am new to US in Atlanta now.. Comparing Canada here savings is okay.. But I miss Canada offers like hydro, pestro card(was in downtown), after landing they will give you medical insurance card no charge for dr consultation, x-ray, blood test, some chargers for drug like here.. also no drug charge for children's.. for children full free medical service nanga pona andha year tha solinanga.. will buy antibiotics for my kid for zero dollar.. over all we saw up to -27° in Toronto that's a big minus there.. almost up to may month weekly once snow flurries visit us.. January month climate is extreme...

Well explained bro, one habit our people here is having the conversion to Inr currency when they buy in $. We are living with Indian economy mindset in US economy. This perspective gives uncomfortable thought process for US residents. Keep doing your videos.

Very correct message. Life in America is glamorous from outside. Actual life is very tough. Good infrastructure and comfort is the plus point. Rest everything else is struggle.one can lead a more comfortable and satisfying life in India with same educational qualification etc.

I feel definitely California is better than east coast with rent wise ... California only few city it is costly like LA .. other than that if u go little inner we get 1700 dollars nice decent big house !! Only thing is hot so current bill ll be more .. where as east coast Boston side small house it’s minimum 1500 to 2000 dollars though it’s not hi fi city ... here no a/c requires but we require heater always ....

Will be awesome if this video can be remade with current scenario. As of now, the tax on $90K is only $12.3K (exemption is $25100, so taxable income is $64.9K. Social security and Medicare tax - $6885, federal tax is $7390. State and local is $4050. Will get $6000 child tax refund for 2 children. So net tax is only $12325 rather than $24K)

I just saw your other video about saving money. Just a small advice as a brother. We live here for last 15 years happily ..US is not just for money it is a life style, ,Women safety and children studies. It depends on how we manage our finances. Any where in the world it will be tough if you want only money..
@iswaryanandini21714 жыл бұрын
Just a question to decide ,do you really think studies is as good ,there are lot of international schools now in Bangalore and chennai . Also , women safety is a good point but then I don't think women walk here or commute in public transport as we would do in our country .car la ponna safe than😁

Good video showing the reality of living abroad. In UK we have a local government tax called 'Council Tax' for every property. Do they have such tax there for your property? Also it would be interesting if you can do a video about pros and cons of living in India and US having saved the same amount of money every month. Thank you. If the reality is not much of a saving and lonely life there like many complaining comments below, then what is the reason still many Indians (specially professionals) want to live there?

U.S is giving a basic luxury life by default as it’s a developed country already -to keep it simple and short -my personal opinion ... ofcoarse country wise of u can travel easily from one state to another state here where as in our country it’s expensive and polluted and poor roads makes trip long time too .... so little savings are here compared to India ... in India if one person earn and they cannot raise 2 child s- that’s why all stopping with single child there ... I feel this always...
@unavemarunthu51104 жыл бұрын
Other main Imp thing is even 3 child’s u can give good free education ...which is highly great - the most people scared of expenses in India is typically school fees ..

Fuels, Medical Copay, Shopping Mall expenses (shoes, dresses and so on) and finally not living healthy life (depressed, stress, early morning, late night call). Missing my proper breakfast and H-Four cannot able to work until spouse get the IOneFourty (Don't know when) + HFour-EAD (Easy 4-6 month + short duration (expiry date) then we have to apply again after long wait of Hone extension) In California (Avg 1 Bhk costs 1800 because we couldn't compromise with kids), Logically speaking high class poor in all aspects.

Same scenario in most of the countries ... either it’s USA / Uk/ IRE or europe scenario all same .. one person definitely not enough even though u get 90kdollrs or in euro or pounds ... but personally I still feel USA some states are still very cheap .. atleast u get big house compare to other countries .. plus u have all communities .. big markets... always grass look greener on other side ... U have covered evytng but telling fewtngs high. Most of the states preschool does not have fee. Flight tickets also I felt very high if we go in unseason it wil come around 600-700$ in summer 900-1100$ max. Because we go to India vacation every year. You can take rental car to airport that saves a lot. You have couponing here, discounts here and few stuffs to save. If you buy in local farms it wil be cheap. Try for deals for sim card and internet. Other stuffs are explained very well. One more tng I wanted to say even we used to save $1000 easily wen we got less than $ 80k.
