Best video ever made that clearly explains our life in US financially, but people in India thinks that we earn in Crores and don’t help them financially. Sad part of this story is even our own family don’t believe this fact.

Thanks for posting this video. I agree that it’s hard to save anything with high inflation now. but if I compare my personal financial saving back to 2009 it was completely a difference story..With one person working ( me and my wife, no kids) we saved 30-40% of my salary. now my salary increased x 3 but cost of living increased x 6.. I remember we paid $ 525 for a rent in North Austin but now it’s $2200. if you add rent insurance and medical copayments that will bring down your saving a bit…

Prem - you have to add 500 per month per child towards college education. At todays cost 4-year college education costs 120,000 dollars and it goes up by 6% per year. So from the year the child is born you have to save 500 per month per child towards education.

Pretty much the same story in Canada. I live in GTA and the rent is comparable if not higher. Medical insurance pretty much gets covered at work for a nominal payment which is a huge plus. Most companies have a decent pension system which combined with Govt benefits comes handy when you retire and hopefully by then the house would be fully paid for. BTW good job guys, keep this going.

Want to know the real impact of inflation and cost increases in general? My first salary in late 1980's was 42,000. We managed all of the above expense items and still managed to save a few $ every month. The buckets may be little different. No Mobile or streaming but AT&T calls to India was $1.40 per minute. The telephone bills were the second highest budget item. Looks like you need more than double these days.

One more request bro, Since I know Tamil I can understand the conversation though I’m a Telugu Person. Could you please add subtitles as well , so that it will help other makkale from diff languages of us. Reason for this ask is, Content is accurate from your channel . If some thing is good, we should support nd share it to others as much as we can.

@@ArthiPrem Thank you for this video anna and anni🙏+1, please put a similar video for bachelor's as well. Also, please also include options like bachelors living in studio/ living alone. Your previous videos always included bachelors in rent sharing option which is mostly not true today :) The increasing trend is ppl opting for studio/one bedroom for privacy or to accommodate their parents when they visit US.

Hi Prem, Thanks for sharing this useful information. I got selected H1B lottery this year and my petition approved and my H1B visa stamping is in process. Waiting for the Booking slot. I am family of four members - Me, Wife, 2 kids. I used to watch all of your videos. You both doing fantastic job . Like me who planning to come to US for the first time, your videos helped a lot to understand situations over US and plan accordingly. Fortunately my work location is Ohio, Columbus. Hopefully if all went successful, We can meet in next year. Keep rocking and continue your great efforts 😊
