Decades ago we found amethyst just like that in Thunder Bay. A large bucket and $5 and we were able to fill up the bucket to overflowing....guess that opportunity has long past!

Bro amethyst is not a diamond, it's literaly quartz crystal, it doesn't need earth pressure to form and is usually found in red mud since quartz formation is common on that areas

Chances of finding a pocket like this honestly is low. I’ve spent many weeks and months, digging with large machinery sometimes and don’t find anything near this good. But you never can tell, if I would have thought I couldn’t find anything I never would’ve found this.
