Absolutely loved this lounge, not too crowded, good privacy in that nap, lay flat room, the food was great. Our favorite part was Charles our bartender! He kept the prosecco flowing!

Catching up with all your KZbin vids, Sebby, so thanks for sharing a tour of this particular Centurion lounge. Houston is my town and I haven’t had a chance to check the lounge. I was telling my partner that we should try to arrive at the airport earlier to enjoy the benefit. One thing to note (you already know this Sebby) is that with the Jan 2020 Delta Reserve changes/perks, the Centurion lounge is now included. I might nix the Plat and stick with the reserve to minimize annual fees.

Oh I love this lounge. Great food nice employees. Had no idea there was a section behind that wall hahaha (secret area). I always sit in the middle facing straight at it too. Definitely going to that spot every time now. Thanks. Also recommend leaving before they close. that elevator takes a while with a line.

Wow. The IAH lounge is waaaay better than the SEA lounge. The SEA lounge is tiny and always crowded. Good thing there is a great Delta lounge around the corner. Is it me or does Amex cater more to American and United flyers than Delta? Consider the locations of the Centurion location (airport and terminals). IAH - United hub, SFO - United hub, PHL American hub, DFW - American hub, etc.

Craig Penrose You are correct, they do put Centurion lounges at United and Aemerican hubs. The card gives you free access to the Delta lounges as long as you are flying Delta, regardless of class. They do charge you $29 per guest though, where Centurion lounge you can bring 2 guests for free.

I flew American Airlines out of MIA back in July. Never got to enter the Centurion Lounge due to the new rules and then my flight was delayed about 5-6x equaling roughly 2 hours. When I got home I emailed a complaint to AA and about a week or two later, I was then given 15,000 miles and an apology from AA. Not bad...

I just got the Priority Pass app and #, but I was under the impression I only needed my actual AMEX Plat card... Is this correct? Am I okay not having a physical Priority Pass card? The Houston-IAH Cent. Lounge is one of the best, if not the best. Only downside is getting there as there is only small elevator access in D but amazing lounge. Kudos to PHL-Philly as the runner up. Seattle, no love, as it takes forever to get in and food options were always so-so. YMMV of course.

However, since I don't travel that much (yet) and I don't foresee heading to any cities with Centurion Lounges in the next several years, I can't make use of this card's benefit and therefore lowers the utility of me getting this card. YMMV BTW, I have now been to 3 different Delta Skyclubs in ATL (this year) and they have half the food and Alcohol as shown here, it so far has been PLENTY for me for a layover!

Actually, he was correct, the pronoun you use in this instance would be "me" as it makes sense if you were to take away the "and Mandy"- "For me, it was pretty relaxing." instead of "For I, it was pretty relaxing" EDIT: It's hard to recognize when this rule has been broken, as most of us break it via using "me and ___" incorrectly, but it isn't a steadfast, blanket case like some people are lead to believe. It's just very common to use "___ and I".
