Was wondering if I will get two $100 hotel credits if I book two separate stays back to back (Mon & Tue) at the IHG property via AmEx FHR using my hotel credit for 2024 and 2025 for April 2025? Also, and this may depend on the property, but I wonder if they will honor my IHG Diamond status for lounge access for booking IHG property via FHR or do I have to call the property.
@KevinYangАй бұрын
I don't have direct experience with IHG, but I've heard it really depends whether they decide to merge your booking into one or not. For the latter, when I was in Vegas I was able to stack my Bellagio FHR back in the day with MGM Gold waiving resort fees.

I currently have delta platinum, do you think this is better than the delta platinum that I currently have? I just want to keep 2 cards: flies mostly delta and stays at Marriott mostly and occasionally Hilton. Need 2 that has the best value

Really depends! Technically the Amex Platinum still gets you some Delta SkyClub access, but not many of the other perks. On the other hand, you get Marriott and Hilton Gold status!

@@KevinYang i get it but using the personal platinum card to pay taxes to meet a SUB isn't wise for everyone, especially if the person can't pay off the full balance at the end of the cycle. I really don’t understand you have to spend $8,000 to get points? Credit cards does not provide financial freedom please don’t misunderstand me these comments are not ment to be mean spirited but keep in mind every time you swipe you are in debt , you pay off the bill in 30 days but you swipe,swipe again (Wash, rinse, repeat).The goal is to be debt free my family and I have never had a debit or card we do purchase visa gift cards in case there are stores that don’t take cash. We are frugal we have no need for subscriptions or to pay for premium packages so the question would be why? Remember the goal is to be debt free and to be debt free we need to consume less ask me how I know?

@@g.burney4714 Yes, although I would still take out debt in terms of things like car loans and mortgages if I believed the rates are less than typical market returns (less so in this market, but the concept in general).
