AMG 18" 8.5J ET38 5 Spoke wheels on Mercedes W124 Coupe

I’m using w211 17’ Rucha style wheels (8j & ET38) on my w124. My front tyre sticks out from the wheel arch a little. I don’t like it. How did you get your 8.5j Wheels to be flush with the front wheel arch ? Btw I’m only using 215/50/17. Cant go with narrow tyres as 8j requires 215 minimum

What year is your w124? And what model? I am using Eibach Pro kit spring, so car sits bit low, but other than that, I do not recall having any other modifications done to the car... You can watch my other videos as well, as long ET is around 35 they are mostly flush. I would suggest you try 215 45 17, then height of the tires will be smaller and they will fit better behind arches... Note that these are even 18" that I am having on the car and still looks good.

@@addictedtorust Mine is a 93 E220. Forgot to mention mine is a sedan not a coupe. Does it have anything to do with it ? Correct me if Im wrong, the more the ET the inner the wheel sits ?

I heard some rumors that E model like we have have some spacers added to fenders so wheel arch is bit wider then on regular models, but I still didn't confirm this. And I was thinking you have first model of w124 and that could be a reason for it but apparently not. Yes, you are right. As long as you never turn they shpuld be fine

Not really, I am using it for 1 month already on the car, if you fully steer you could have some rubbing, but normal driving, no problems... If you are interested in some photos/videos, write me on IG page...

@@addictedtorust good to know mine has same wheels they tried flaring the front fenders but it still rubs inside and out haslowering springs also might be some of the problem

hmm, do you have same tire size also? It could be if you have bigger tires that it is rubbing because of them...

Nista nista, kako ima par razlicitih verzija ovih felni, treba samo ispratiti dimenzije. Kod mene su ET38 i 8.5J, imaju od B klase sa ETom nesto preko 40, blizu 50, e tada bi trebali distanceri...
