My SL63 has that too. You need to have the remote control to make it work. Judging by the fact that it has the laser jammer strips, it is likely a newer unit (worth keeping) and you can buy the remote for it. Also, check inside of your speedo dash cluster. Look for two little LED lights sticking down into the cluster.

I get it. But you have a nice setup. Good heat exchangers. You can maximize your efficiency and power potential by increasing intake size dramatically by the filter taper to the compressor housing. The boxes are in your way. Once your driving the air supersedes the engine heat and pushes it out the way and allows crisp Air. The boxes do help with stationary radiant heat. . But limit your filter size.
