Duff and Steven Adler were one of the tightest and funkiest rhythm sections in the history of rock and roll, and Slash writes amazing hooks and riffs with arguably the best electric guitar tone ever. Axl is definitely overrated but GnR was operating in rarefied air in the late 80s and their debut album is almost the perfect rock n roll record.
