Herpteologist here - The snake is not venomous or poisonous. It appears to be either a Garter or Ribbon Snake which are fairly common in the area.

Thank You for that clarity!! I am not a snake fan lol! Never seen one in Fl. like it!

Great video. Thanks. You mentioned site 8. How long is the site and do you have a fifth wheel or travel trailer
@CampTravelExplore4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! Site 8 is easily 60 ft long, but its the grade getting around the camping loop that is so steep, but I think 40 ft and under wouldn't be an issue. We don't pretend to be experts on all RV's, our latest is a small 30ft class A.
@jimcraver64614 жыл бұрын
Thanks for that info. We have a 30 foot travel trailer but looking to upgrade to a fifth wheel that’s alittle longer but under 40. Once again thank you

@CampTravelExplore4 жыл бұрын
Hey John, we visited in October trying to catch the Fall color! People were wearing masks at the lodge or in the resort facilities and some were on the hiking trails. Hope that helps.
@2021-j2d4 жыл бұрын
We too are impressed with this park. Did you tow a camper in/out; what kind/size? Is this the park where ppl have bottomed out and lost brakes coming/going on the steep entrance grade?
@CampTravelExplore4 жыл бұрын
It is a steep grade so longer fifth wheels would struggle a bit I think. We stayed in the Lodge on this trip through this time!

Is this place stroller friendly ?
@CampTravelExplore3 жыл бұрын
There were some paths that you could use a stroller to get to the main overlook for the waterfall. The stairs portion wasn't possible but you could still take in the falls and have great views, the main views I showed were from the level you could have gotten to with the stroller! Hope I helped :)
