You have a nice A500. Have also a ACE2 but on a Rev6A with the old Indivision ECS V1. Have a ACA500Plus V1 on the side with the ACA1233n-55 RTC IDE Speeder. Connect it with VGA on a BenQ BL702A monitor. Have today buy the Indivision ECS V2 which I have the end of the week. Waiting 2 years for the black A500 case and black keycaps from A1200NET. Hoping that come this year and end my A500 project. I also busy with my A1200’s projects and have the new Indivision AGA MK3. It works perfect and it’s better than my old AGA MK2CR’s. Like the Live-modus on it and now I see the WHDLoad Demos and EXE Demos perfect and not change the resolutions on it.

Sounds nice. The Indivision AGA MK3 is definitely a good addition for the A1200. I too, am waiting on my A500 Case. At least the A1200 cases arrived a while back :)

Have three A1200 cases from A1200NET. The rare GHOST, CD32 with the keycaps and the Black case. The GHOST Keycaps is maybe latter come out 2021. And must also wait for the black keycaps for the Black A1200 case. Have the A1200 GHOST, CD32 Special Edition and the A1200 Black labels on it. In my two A1200’s I have the Blizzard 1230 IV’s with the FPU’s and 128MB 50ns. The GHOST runs WB 3.1-BestWB 1.3 and gave ClassicWB ADVSP on the CD32 and Black have original 3.1.4 ROM chips. Would be great to use the ACA1260, Warp 1260 and the Vampire 1200 V2. I’m also searching for a Blizzard 1260.

How can you know the Indivision ECS V2 is not running in OCS mode?

Interesting, I am not sure actually. I will need to run the Setup/Prefs program to find out if all the modes work. I will post my response at that time.

@@amigaretro4765 Will be interesting to hear back. The reason I ask is because you didn't check to see if you actually had ECS in the video and I find it very likey that an FPGA based scandoubler like the Indi ECS V2 may just switch to OCS once it sees the missing signal on pin 34 or was it 35 that you mentioned in the video. I have both Indi ECS V2 and Indi ECS V1 myself. Have not tested this personally. I have Rev.5 and Rev. 6A motherboards. Maybe I could test this in one of my Rev.5 boards. I assume it has the missing signal just like the Rev.3.

Mats, I wont be home for a few weeks, so my video was a bit rushed (it was over a month since my last one), indeed, I should have verified that ECS was detected by either SysInfo or the Indivision ECS V2 software. I will look into this upon my return. This will be interesting to investigate.Thanks for reminding me of this, you are awesome!

The Indivision ECS V2 defaults to OCS mode. You have to set it to ECS and then store that setting using the software so it will power on in ECS mode afterward. It would most likely not have given a screen just like the real ECS chip had it been in that mode.

I put a Indivision ECS V2 in my A 500+ I use the VGA it works like very well, Indivision make some very good addons for the Amigas.

What cable do you have for connecting Amiga to a lcd monitor ?

A VGA cable. This is the output provided by the Indivsion ECS. As long as you can find an LCD Monitor that has a VGA input, the results are very impressive.

@@amigaretro4765 Thanks, I'm planning to order a cheap Amiga RGB to VGA convertor. Do you think it will work just fine or it will produce a poor result ?

@@cemc.852 From experience, most yield poor results. That is why ended up with the Indivision ECS V2 and the OSSC (Open Source Scan Converter). The best cheap unit I had success with was the SCART (RGB) to HDMI Adapter. You would need to get a SCART to 23-pin adapter cable for your Amiga. They are readily available on eBay.
